I have now upgraded my Kel-Tec Sub 2000 with ALL the M-CARBO ‘superior’ internal and external accessories. I have found the M-CARBO accessory parts to be of a very high quality and your install videos to be extremely helpful in ensuring all the upgrades are completed properly/successfully. My 40 cal. PCC was fun to shoot prior to the M-CARBO upgrades; now it is my number-one weapon to fire at the range.
A must have. Amazing performance with this upgrade. With aid of you guys awesome videos I took on the job and did great.
This kit will not only reduce your trigger pull weight but the aluminum trigger and trigger bar feel much more solid with no flex. The install videos are great and take you through every step, anyone can do this.
This product changed the trigger's feel from "wonder when it will fire" to a smooth, crisp 4.13lb pull. I have installed everything M*Carbo makes for the S2K except muzzle break, and that's next. Will continue to purchase from M*Carbo because of their products quality, price, concern for customer, speedy shipping/tracking, and the M*Carbo Brotherhood Forum. This is very tedious to install, but the trigger is crisper, cleaner overall better. The trigger guard could use improvement IMO, with adding the wings as the sides of the factory one has. It takes more effort to push this one down without those little wings sticking out. Obviously they're using a stock piece of aluminum to mill from, but going with the wings for the price would be a big improvement. I've not taken it to the range yet, but dry firing it is an improvement with a lighter trigger pull, blah blah blah - like everyone else said.
got my parts finally and get to disassembling. as Ave. would say. springing' sprung, parts all over. . followed the video with a lot of rewinding and pausing and back up and running in less than 90 minutes. what a world of difference. LOVE the flat trigger. thanks macro
First, the quality of the parts provided were excellent. Everything fit perfectly. It's obvious M*Carbo has spent a remarkable amount of time tweeking their design with substantial quality control. The install was tedious but the install video was exact and complete. I started, stopped and re-played the steps MANY times and with patience all went well. Took about 5 hours with polishing. Chose the straight trigger and most pleased that I did. Really like the feel. Don't have a gauge, but honestly think the trigger pull is about half what it was from the factory. Great work Chris. Really appreciate your enthusiasm and the quality of work your folks produce. This gun continues to improve with each enhancement I purchase from your company. Keep up the good work!

I could go into plenty of detail into why each of the parts in this kit is absolutely top notch, but just like the kit, I'll include it in one place! This is without question the best purchase that you can make overall to really take your Sub2000 to the next level...the trigger upgrades, the feed ramp upgrade, the springs, trigger guard, all of them are phenomenal improvements on a gun that is great, but can benefit from some help with aftermarket thinking like MCarbo. To me, the unsung heroes of this kit are the carbon steel grip pins and screws, because the cheap aluminum stock ones came thoughtfully pre-stripped, saving me the trouble..sigh...thanks KelTec. Anyway, don't go the slow cheap route by buying everything individually because you don't want to be constantly reopening your KelTec every time..believe me. The installation videos are very good and easy to follow, and when coupled with the MCarbo external upgrades your Sub2k will truly be an amazing PCC. I'd also like to add that MCarbo's shipping is UNREAL. Throughout the last two years, pandemic or not, my parts have arrived at almost unbelievable speeds. I have never had a single product, regardless of price, not show up AT LEAST a day earlier than expected. I wish all of my manufacturers could take note of this..
You will not regret getting this trigger upgrade kit for your sub2000. I ordered mine with some other parts like the stainless steel feed ramp and extended magazine release and everything was easy to install from the install videos provided. The little carbine feels so much better to handle and shoot especially with the extended charging handle. Keep up the good work mcarbo your products are top notch.
I happened across a Sub 2000 video in which a guy mentioned upgrading the trigger. After seeing the M*Carbo install videos, I decided I would try it for myself. The install took over an hour, because I had the hammer spring issue (the tail pops out of place when replacing the ejector side grip panel). Thanks to Chris Nelson for the very helpful and thorough install videos. As for the end result: my 10.6# stock trigger pull was reduced to 4.8#s. It feels so much nicer. I also took the suggestion of purchasing and installing the extended mag release, SS feed ramp, and 2-finger charging handle w/rubber covers. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the quality of products, ease of installation, and enhanced functionality. Also, purchases support military foundations like the Green Beret Foundation. That's a Win-Win in my book.
This kit is amazing and comes with everything you need to upgrade your carbine. All the parts are of extraordinary quality and are a definite necessity to have your weapon at peak condition.
This was such a great project to do. The experience of tearing down the sub-2000 and replacing all these parts was a little challenging, but not too challenging. The instructional video covered about 90% of all the challenges. There were a couple tough spots. I worked my way through it and couldn't be happier with the results. A strange thing occurred. At first after re-assembly I had issues with the safety not going in all the way and at times seemed to get hung up on the hammer bar. The safety would work, but was too tended to spring back into the fire position. After putting about 50 rounds through the sub-2000, all the internal parts worked there way into perfection. I shot approximately 250 rounds that day without a single issue. This was all too much fun. I've already ordered some other parts for another gun. Thanks MCARBO!
The best upgrade to our 40 sw keltech 2000 ever! Take your time, watch the videos and you will have a tight, consistent improvement on the kel tech 2000. I went for the full boat, trigger upgrade kit, including steel trigger guard, flat target trigger, new screws, collars, stainless steel feed ramp and polishing kit plus extended glock mag release all excellent manufactured products by Mcarbo. Take your time, provide a well lit, clean workplace and watch the step by step videos. Took about 4 hours, lost 20 minutes looking for the tiny spring n bearing on the safety post. If you don't have your finger on to cover it it shoots out like a bullet. Take your time at thus stage. Once the upgrade is complete WOW!! Dialed in with vortex green dot on an extended raised rail, sub MOA at 25 yards. Tightened up any loose play where the foregrip and lower lock when the plastic trigger guard moved 1/8 of an inch. Now locks tight. Kudoos Mcarbo! Keep it up. Stainless feed ramp feeds round after round cleanly with no issues. All polished and smooth and now easy to see when cleaning. Now the new trigger, WOW, crisp, feel the reset. Not as crisp as my Walther PPQ 5" but no comparison to the stock, spongy plastic trigger. Don't hesitate, turn your kel tech 2000 into the magnificent carbine is was intended to be. We love the upgrade Mcarbo, keep it up and thank you for the high quality support. Go made in the USA.
If you are handy at all, you should have no problem installing all the parts in this kit. I did find, due to changes KelTec has made, that the armorer's wrench was of limited use and I didn't need the Loctite adhesive (the collar bayonets on and off on my SUB2000). The installation was straightforward. I watched a little of the installation video, paused it, did that part, then moved to the next task in the video. The parts are of VERY HIGH QUALITY and vastly improve the gun function a great deal. Before, the trigger was mushy then had a high pull. The trigger was contacting the trigger guard before the gun would fire. Now, the takeup is short and smooth, and the release pressure is about half what it was stock. I compared it to my Glock in a Google review, but honestly, I think it's better. This took the SUB2000 from a bugout/backpack gun to something fun to shoot! I would recommend it to anyone with a SUB2000.
I just came back from the range after putting 500rds on the New & Improved Kel Tec Sub 2000 !! Amazing results !! If you want to reach a higher level of performance this is the upgrade that will let you reach The Final Frontier !!
