During my initially frustrating (my error) reassembly efforts, M-Carbo was continually in contact, making suggestions and requesting feedback. This is superior customer service. After discovering the problem with the mixed up pins, KelTec reassembled my rifle with the M-Carbo parts. I received the rifle today. The M-Carbo trigger springs, flat trigger, and trigger guard are amazing. It's like night and day. It is well worth a $100 investment if you want to enjoy shooting your Sub. Just be sure to reassemble it correctly. The M-Carbo videos are excellent and easy to follow. I've learned my lesson. I appreciate M-Carbo's support and I'm glad you have updated the assembly video to include the the "pin reminder". Thanks M-Carbo. Keep up the good work.
In addition to the bundle, added trigger, trigger guard, rear sight, recoilless charging handle and extended mag release. Did have a few problems getting it to close up, had a few springs that kept slipping out of position. That's on me though as this is the most extensive mods I have ever made to a weapon and the first time doing any internals. Heavy use of the excellent videos got me through it with minimal cussing. Night and day difference. Not only is operation far superior to stock, but the quality of Mcarbo parts adds a much higher level of confidence in the weapons performance and durability.
First of all, review the installation videos. Follow step by step. Spend extra time polishing the parts. This will transform the Sub 2000 into an ultra smooth shooter I reduced my trigger pull from over 9 pounds to just under 5. All the slop in the factory trigger is gone. The replacement parts are a vast improvement.
Not only did I purchase the trigger Job Bundle but I purchased almost every item on this page for my Sub 2000. All I can say is this company is looking out for you! The installation was straight forward. The products are very high quality! Did all these changes make a difference in the end? Most definitely! You will not be disappointed.
This kit turns the Sub into a whole new firearm. Incredible improvement over the stock trigger. Installatiion was easy using the on-line video, which was extremely well done, BTW. Without question, this should be the first upgrade for your Sub 2000.

I purchased the bundle and a couple additional items: rear sight, charging handle cover, buffer spring recoil reducer (plastic red circle), and the essential stock cover. I am by no means a gunsmith, and I had a couple of hiccups along the way (due to my own anxious desire to complete the upgrades), but after I slowed down, watched and listened to the video and finally put my Sub 2000 Gen 2 back together with all the upgrades, it finally felt and operated the way I had hoped it would when I purchased it. It just felt stronger and more durable.
Really, I know it looks like, and IS, a chunk of denairo, but it is definetly worth it in several aspects. First off, you save about $50 over buying everything separately. Secondly, you only have to take your Sub2K apart once to do the entire install. Thirdly, it is easier to justify one charge {imho} than numerous and it is also easier to hide/carry one box rather than several. Other than that, the Quality is DEFINITELY Superb, Fit & Finish are Impeccable, ease of installation and upgrade is ridiculous. Finally, the improvement in function of the platform both from the accuracy standpoint and just general operation being smoother, and more solid - is IMPRESSIVE... almost like a totally different gun !!! And, of course, the peace of mind that long term, the weapon is not going to wear out or encounter a mechanical failure due to inferior or lowest cost parts. HOOAH M*CARBO !!!
I was finally able to find the time (2 kids, work and a wife ) to do all of the upgrades to my sub 2K. I went to the range today and it was flawless. When I got home I received the bolt tube cover and sling mount. Those will go on this weekend.
My first trip to to this sife I started filling my cart with all the polymer to aluminum change outs and of course the trigger springs which dropped the trigger pull by half. So I emptied my cart and bout the whole shebang, tools included. Best single purchase I could make. Grateful for the instructional videos. Couldn't have done it without it.
this is an excellent kit and almost complete. since you're going to open the rifle up, you should also go ahead and put in the stainless feed ramp. you're going to do it eventually, might as well do it all at once. it's easy to do and everything works great.
My Wife and I are not ex military or SpecOps. We simply enjoy shooting. The upgrade kit made a world of difference in the gun's handling and accuracy. The videos did an excellent job walking us through the upgrade. This is an excellent, well thought out product and a huge upgrade to the KelTec. If you are mechanically inclined or handy with tools this upgrade is doable as a DIY.
I "personalize" all my guns, they have to run as smoothly and flawlessly as is possible. This kit is the one to get if you want to make your Sub 2K almost perfect. Easy to follow instructions, all the parts and polish you will need and all packaged perfectly.
The trigger is much more comfortable and has a great break and reset. The carbine is now usable rather then a nice idea with poor execution. Great portable firepower.
Everything you never knew you needed and wished KT put in from the factory. Minor modification needed to the frame for fitment, but videos make it easy. 5 lbs 8.5 oz pull, down from 9lbs.
