If there are any upgrades to make to the Sub-2k, this is it. The oem trigger should be a crime to humanity. A heavy 9lb squish that'll kill your trigger finger in no time. This kit has everything you need for doing half an MCarbo upgrade. It's a little bit of a pain to install, but nothing too hard. Just take note there are two or three springs that may fly off into oblivion when you get the gun open, but besides that it's a good couple of hours learning how it's put together. The videos on the MCarbo site really help. He does a good job walking you through the steps. The only gripe I had about it is that I wanted to use the oem polymer trigger guard instead of the aluminum one, so it doesn't crack my fingers if they get in the way, but it's not so bad. The aluminum one smacks the same way the polymer one does on deployment. The reason you have to use the aluminum guard is because the new trigger is a bit longer than the oem trigger, and therefore the aluminum guard is a bit longer as well. My new trigger pull by the way is 4.5lbs now. It's soooo much better. And the squish is almost non-existent. As for the other parts that come in the kit, I'm still deciding how I feel about the necessity of them (only been to the range once so far), but they seem to be quality parts and well made. The polished feed ramp for example. Didn't know if I wanted one or not, but I got one now. It's pretty nice in the end. I didn't even need to polish it any more than about 20 seconds with the dremel. As for the new screws, I guess they're nice. I got spares now. The tool's that come with it are helpful. Overall the whole pack is a great upgrade. If I can get my groups a little tighter on the next outing to break in the barrel I'm going to love this rifle. So yes, if anything for the sub-2k is essential to have, this kit is it. Sorry for the rambling. You get alot. Side note: Before you order, take note of everything that comes in the pack so you don't accidentally order extra parts you're already getting. They do try to save you a couple of bucks by bundling a few things, whether you want them or not.
Just installed the All-in-one Pro bundle for my SUB-2000 Gen 2. The installation was easy to perform, (I followed along with the video). Everything went as described and the trigger feel, and pull is incredible. The new feed ramp is the true game changer making ammo feed flawless. Do yourself a favor and purchase all of the upgrades and transform a mediocre, lack luster pistol caliber carbine into a precision home defense weapon. I would truly recommend this to anyone who owns a SUB-2000.
you just could not overstate the value of this upgrade until you use it. your sub2000 is a toy in stock form and this kit transforms it into a precision shooter. you will be amazed what this will do to a cheap rifle. im amazed every time i shoot this thing. i cannot believe this little bargain shooter can work this good. self install was simple enough and i have zero gunsmith or gun repair experience. the wrench is slick but not much good for the sub except to remove C clip from safety. large round wrench cutouts do not fit stock retainer ring or anything else on this rifle.
I recently bought and installed your Pro Performance Trigger Job Bundle and the stainless feed ramp and polishing kit. Great products and superb instruction videos. This is a fantastic upgrade. I am torn between what is the best part: the fantastic trigger pull (as compared to stock), or the knowledge that I have fully reliable internals and a feed ramp that is made of steel instead of thermoplastic. Either way, I've got both and I am excited. Factor in the peep sight, buffer pad, butt pad, and tube wrap, and I've got a sewing machine of a carbine that drops 50 rounds of .40 cal into a 1 inch circle at 10 yards. For those (like me) that have never cracked open a gun before, much less torn apart internals: be not afraid. Watch the fantastic YouTube videos that these guys put together, and buy all the parts they recommend. I spent a total of about 3 hours replacing all the internals plus the other items (2 hours watching vids, 1 hour conducting surgery) and I had zero issues. In fact, since I bought the original internal kit before the hammer bushing was released, I got to do the whole tear down twice. Both times I followed the directions, and both times I had no problems. I just got back from the range with my fully upgraded carbine and this thing shoots like a dream. Take the fun factor of the un-upgraded Sub-2000, and then add the refinement of a (insert name of high-end gun manufacturer here), and that's what you have with an M-Carbo series Sub-2k. Well worth the cost. Well worth the investment in time and tools.
I'm sure the person in the video has had a lot more practice than myself. It should have taken me about twice as long, check the video then do a step. I had several issues, all on my part, one of the original screws was frozen not stripped so I had to do the disassembly before being able to grab the old pin with pliers and unscrew it. Reassembly was my major problem, things kept slipping out of place, which caused disassembly several times. The sear spring popped off on one of my disassembles and I spent some time looking around on the floor for it. The good news is I'm fairly competent on the disassembly and assembly of a Keltec Sub 2K. The trigger pull is a lot better. I don't have a gauge so I can't say exactly what the before and after is but it does feel a lot lighter. Thanks for a great product and I'm off to drink several cold adult beverages to celebrate.
BOUGHT EVERY ITEM MCARBO HAS FOR THE 2000 GEN 2.. INCLUDING THE NEW MUZZLE BRAKE. AND REAR PEEP SIGHT. WAS EASY TO INSTALL IF YOU FOLLOW VIDEOS. JUST RECEIVED MUZZLE BRAKE, JULY 2018, BUT HAVE NOT TRIED IT OUT..SHOT AFTER INSTALL OF ALL OTHER PARTS,,,VERY HAPPY WITH RESULTS..GOOD PRODUCTS AND SERVICE...
If you own a Sub, then buy this. Got rid of all the parts KelTec should be ashamed of using.
The kit got here quickly and in perfect condition. I watched the installation video several times before attempting the precess. This was very helpful as I became more familiar with the procedure. The video was excellent, , instruction and pictures were clear , complete and easy to understand. Met recommendation would be : get the complete kit, including the wrench, lube, loctite and ramp polishing materials, cause you never have exactly what is needed, but the full kit and package does. End result is a better shooting, more enjoyable firearm. Money well spent

Just installed the pro performance trigger bundle on my sub 2k this weekend. I watched all the videos of Chris showing how to do them, It made the projects so much more enjoyable. I would have had a difficult time with out the great videos. Thanks Chris, for putting in the time to do those videos. Trigger is amazing now. crisp clean breaks and great reset. night and day difference.
I have purchased all internal and some external upgrades for both sub 2K's I've been playing with. The commitment and passion of Chris and his crew to create and develop these parts is second to none. Everything is very well designed and manufactured. Excellent all around experience.
I installed all of the Internal & Exterior part up grades for the Kel-Tect Sub 2000 and picked up a red dot sight. I have a very extensive back ground in Maintenance and Electronics but have never taken a gun apart this far, and I was able to install all up grades myself with watching the M*Carbo videos, in around 3 hours.
I got just about every upgrade mcarbo makes for my kel tec sub 2000 internal and external. The performance trigger is night and day compared to the stock one, much lighter and much crisper. I am a huge fan of the new metal iron sight that I can push down and deploy as I want. I ordered a red dot to mount on the optic mount they make I can’t wait to get it on. I have not fired it since installing all the products but I feel a lot better getting a lot of the plastic parts out and changing them for quality metal. The charging handle is much more comfortable and has a great design to lock it into the spring. All the YouTube videos made it great to install everything nice and easily. Hopefully the full size brake for the 40 will be in stock soon, that is the only mcarbo product I have not Ordered yet but defiantly will when they get back in stock. I will write another review after firing it but as of now 10/10 it feels great and I think will be much more dependable. Big fan of the company and their products/ customer service, I will continue to use them in the future. I will try and add some pics on the review after I shoot it.
