I recently purchased both these kits to install in my Kel-Tec Sub-2000 Gen2 to replace the polymer OEM parts. The instruction video and installation was straightforward, although I did have to pause the Youtube video a few times to make sure of what I was doing (hey, I'm old). Between pausing and watching a few parts a couple of times it took me approximately 2 hours, and well worth it. Took it to the range yesterday and ran 75 rounds through the gun without a single hiccup. Blew the center out of the targets. Prior to the install of the MCarbo parts there was a bit of play between the barrel and the rest of the gun, with the addition of the trigger kit that play is gone, feels very solid. The metal feed ramp was easy to install and being the gun was apart anyway, a no-brainer. If you do nothing else to your Sub-2000 get these parts and do the upgrade, you won't regret it and you'll learn how the gun is assembled for future reference.
I put all the upgrades mcarbo has for the sub 2000, and the trigger job is the best of them. My friend and I purchased our KelTecs at the same time. I did the mcarbo upgrades he did not. We met at the range to shoot our new guns. After he shot my rifle with the mcarbo upgrades he did not shoot his any longer. He asked if we could trade rifles and he said I could redo his stock rifle with the mcarbo upgrades. He paid for all the parts, so I installed them. Now we both have flat shooting light weight 9mm rifles with great triggers. Great products mcarbo. Firing the stock rifle next to the mcarbo rifle, made it easy to feel the difference in the way the rifle handles.
All parts worked and everything went back together like it was supposed to
This completes what I was hoping for in owning this gun. The trigger is crisp with a short reset.
Purchased the kit and the ramp feed separately. Installed it very easy. The you tube video was made very well! Email communication was element, Thanks for having upgrade parts for the sub 2000. Went to the range great results and no problems! Will purchase from Mcarbo again.

I recieved my MCARBO parts for my Sub 2K last week. I ordered the trigger kit bundle with the tool. I also ordered the polished feed ramp and aluminim trigger guard. I'm very pleased with the finished product. Although I never had a problem with the plastic trigger guard it just felt flimsy, like it could break or stretch at any time. The new one feels so much more solid. I can't say that the feed ramp improves operations because I never had a problem with the plastic feed ramp. However, being a 1911 fan, I can say a good feed ramp is imperative to a smooth feeding gun. It's also easier to clean. Trigger pull is considerabley lighter. My only real disappointment is I was hoping it would change the "feel" of the trigger but it doesn't. Still a vague feel to it, but the pull is considerably lighter so a definite improvment. Overall, when you consider price, it's a worth while upgrade in my opinion. Those little springs can be a PITA and will fly away on you if you're not carefull. I wasn't carefull.
I ordered 6 parts for my Sub-2000 40 cal. The package came within a week, but it had been opened either accidentally or on purpose. Either way my trigger pack and recoilless bolt knob were missing. The other 4 items were in the package. Sent Mcarbo an email that night and I received a response email the next morning stating the trigger pack and bolt knob had been re-sent. Got them about 5 days later. Everything went in as stated in the videos and it has dramatically changed the way the Sub-2000 shoots. The stock trigger on my gun was 10 pounds 10 ounces. After installing the trigger pack it is now 3 pounds 14 ounces. Outstanding products and customer service. Top notch products and people, can’t recommend them highly enough.
All went together well. The only issue I had was I went with the flat trigger and it would catch on the rear of the trigger guard after assembly. I fixed it by putting a small rubber cabinet bumper between the guard and the grip.
This package of parts went into my Gen 2 Glock sub2K. First off, let me say the video is needed to run along during your installation in order to keep you from screwing things up! Having a well laid out uncluttered work area will improve your chances of finding your new Sear Spring after it flies off the Sear during the install. I raided my wife’s sewing box for a one foot long bright piece of thread that I tied around the coil of the spring itself after the second launch and search session. The string can easily be cut off later. Following the polishing process allows for better performance of your Sub when completed. I got through the process by following the video steps exactly and my Sub2k is performing much better now. Thanks Mcarbo, for another great product!

The 50 minute video Chris Nelson provides is very helpful and chocked full of tips and tricks. P.S. Don't for get to move the mag retention plate from the original mag release to the extended.
Just brought my Kel-Tec Sub 2000 minicarb and was looking at YouTube for a few videos on it. Came across one inparticular that went through the step by the step procless of the installation of an upgraded trigger kit by Mcarbo. Ordered it along with the 30 round fun stick and, with the help from the video installed it. Well after a few hundred rounds...I am very pleased.
1st off, great communication and service. Trigger job was dead easy (except for that detent). That's not the kit but gun design. Video's were straightforward with one exception. I found it easier to set the short end of the trigger return spring 1st and then the long end. The trigger itself is head and shoulders better than the stock one. The replacement springs and a little polishing gives the trigger a much better feel. Don't have a way to measure pull but subjectively it feels like a smoother and lighter. Recommend this upgrade as the Sub2000 stock trigger is pretty bad. When buying this you need to know it's not a complete trigger replacement though. The hammer and sear are still stock so still have the gritty creep issue. Polishing helped but this will never be a match trigger, but does not need to be. Have only shot this out to 50 yds so far but it's pretty accurate with a red dot. Looking forward to seeing your aftermarket red dot mount.
Was really please with the results. My 1st time taking down the sub and with the help of the videos it was very simple. Trigger is indeed lighter and smoother.
