I was hoping for more, but, better is better than nothing. I installed the trigger, the trigger bar, the springs, the trigger guard and the new screws and pins. The metal trigger is an improvement. The metal trigger guard is as well, and upgrading the screws just makes sense. But, my hopes of an improved trigger action didn't materialize. Maybe I just had a good factory trigger and didn't know it, but, the improvement from the "pro-trigger job"? bundle was minimal at best. The pull is rather gritty, and sticky and not much lighter than the factory work. Given the PITA it is to work on the innerds of this gun, I'd be hard pressed to say it was worth it. Now, to be honest, the new sear spring got abducted by aliens, so I had to reinstall the factory spring. But, the new hammer spring and the new trigger return spring are both in there now. I will be ordering a new feed ramp and some other stuff from MCARBO, so maybe if I can beg a replacement spring from them, I will install it when I do the other things and hopefully that will change my opinion. Next time Im in there, I will polish up some of the bearing surfaces too. That should help. Oh, I also installed the buffer. I do think that is going to help with the recoil impulse. Sorry I can't be more positive, but it is what it is.

Love it! I wish this was the 1st thing I did than did a part here and there. Big improvement over stock.
To say upgrade is a understatement. This set up makes for a smooth trigger. I no longer anticipate taking the shot. I had MCARBO do the install. I read all the reviews (have hunted for springs before). The process was easy yes I called several times concerning the shipping , how my build was coming along each and every time I was treated with respect and questions were professionally answered. I received my upgrade kit fast and proceeded to install it on my sub 2000 right away I also ordered the steel feed ramp and polish kit. Thank goodness for the install video which I followed but I did have to repeat a few sections to make sure I was installing it correctly. It was a little bit challenging but not a difficult install. I did have one screw that would not come out and it was the pin that the hammer spring rests against that was the challenging part. After triple checking everything the install was completed and the trigger pull was a LOT better even though I do not have a means to measure the trigger pull I can tell it was a great improvement. Everything seems top notch, now I have a completely different rifle.
To begin, the upgrades I ordered were delayed in shipping. With the weather across the Mid-West in the deep freeze, the additional wait only made me more anxious to install the parts I ordered for my Sub. Once I received my order, I gathered the necessary tools, cleared the dining room table (my family was out of the house for the evening), put Chris' video on the laptop to watch again, and got down to business. I'm not overly mechanically inclined so I followed Chris' every step. My mouse got a little gummy from all of the pausing, but three plus hours later - BOOM, it was done. I did have an issue with the trigger bar. I had to ever-so-slightly bore out the hole with a Dremmel bit I had so I could get the pin to go through, and it did take a couple of attempts to get it to "SNAP" back together (which included re-assembling the trigger and trigger guard assembly), but the learning process was well worth it. The video was invaluable and spot on for making the upgrades, to include the part about the catch on the new charge handle. That was a frustrating episode but well worth it the change. When time and weather were suitable, I took my 15 year-old daughter to the local gun range and gave it a try. PERFECT! No fails, smoother trigger, and a better sight picture with the aperture upgrade. Again, no fails. I did notice that my magazine release is sticking some. We'd rock out a magazine, hit the release, but have to manually remove it. Maybe I over-torqued some of the screws. As my daughter is not as long or tall as myself, I was going to cut down the bolt tube cover to fit for the shortest hole on the buttstock assembly. However, using my limited mechanical abilities I realized that cutting it to one of the two impressions on the bolt tube leave it open at one end. (Unless I missed something, which is possible). I still have to mount the sling mount, but that shouldn't be much of an issue. (Just waiting on a sling with QD fitting). My significant other was worried about the price of the upgrade in addition to the cost of the Sub, but I informed her it could have been avoided if I'd purchased my SUB 6 months ago when it was cheaper. I am completely satisfied and impressed with the upgrades I've made to my S&W Sub. All of the videos were spot on and provided detailed information and examples. MCARBO has gone above-and-beyond in replying to contacts I have made with them. I'd love to make one more upgrade, but the full-size muzzle brake for the Sub2000 .40 is no longer available. Trust me when I say I have been searching high and low for any outfits that may still have one. If anyone knows of location or suitable replacement for a Kel-Tec Sub2000 S&W .40 Cal muzzle brake, I am all ears. God Bless the fine individuals at MCARBO. Highly recommend them and their videos.
I usually never leave reviews for products, but I just had to in this case. The instructional video found on the product page brought me through step by step with ease. My only issue with installation was removing one of the stock screws. After drilling through from the screw head, it came right apart. Perfect that this kit came with an extra set. Thanks mcarbo!

I’ve now installed the full trigger upgrade kit the rear sight and the rubber buffer tube sleeve. A vast improvement on a decent stock gun. A worthwhile investment that will make this a great gun for a long time. Great company, great service and high quality parts.

This trigger group helped me shrink my group and reduced follow-up time. Got the flat trigger. Did a little stoning and polish on the sear as it looked like the Rocky mountains. Everything was quality parts. The trigger pull is very smooth and light. I recommend this in every sub 2000.

this was my first attempt at installing a trigger kit in any gun , with the video as guidance it was fairly simple and the kit itself is great , my sub 2000 went from a 7lbs pull to a crisp 4 lbs pull
