I purchased the pro trigger bundle kit. I'm not a gunsmith by no means but following the instructional video couldn't have made it any easier. Working better than expected. Well worth the price. Added the stainless feed ramp and extended mag release. Feed ramp is a must. Was concerned about the extened mag release since I'm left handed. With proper trigger finger placement it has not been an issue after 50 rds. We'll see how it goes. Overall, the purchase, customer service and product satisfaction has been great. Looking forward to the new sub2000 product releases. Thanks M*Carbo!!!
Installed this along with the trigger bar. Definitely a worth while investment. Makes the S2K a 100% better.
Ordered the All in one trigger job bundle, received within three days, was going to wait to install it but had it done in 30 minutes, video online was spot on and left nothing out on the installation. I now have a completely different Sub-2K can't wait to get out to the range.
No clue what I was doing at first but with the help from mcarbos easy install vids I was done and shooting wings off of flies in no time!!
I purchased this bundle along with the Bolt Tube Cover, Charging Handle, Stainless Steel Feed Ramp, Polishing kit & Recoil Buffer. WOW what a difference in shooting my 9mm! The ~4.5lb trigger pull is smooth yet crisp. All of these accessories together are a vast improvement over factory configuration. It is worth it to assemble it all at once. The feed ramp polishing kit works great as well. Thank you M-Carbo for producing quality products!
I was a little timid to undertake the task of installing these parts, but M*Carbo's videos are very detailed and answered any questions I had. Taking my time and patience, I followed the instructions precisely and was rewarded with a much lighter trigger pull. Replacing the OEM parts with M*Carbo's gives me confidence my Sub 2000 will perform reliably. Will update this post after going to the range.
I purchased and installed this kit in the hopes of correcting a very heavy trigger and gritty/sloppy trigger pull from the factory. Before installation I tested the factory trigger using a Wheeler 309888 Trigger Pull Scale. During this test I recorded nothing less than 8 pounds. After installing this kit I performed the same test and I now have a consistent 5 pound trigger and the trigger pull is smooth and crisp. I followed the installation video and I didn't have any issues. Great product!!!
I installed this kit yesterday for the Fourth of July and it did not disappoint. The difference the new trigger and springs makes is like night and day. I was actually surprised at how smooth the trigger operation was it has definitely been an upgrade worth installing if I had to do it all over again I would spend the extra 50$ and get the total pro upgrade and do it all at one. Live and learn, extremely satisfied!
This Bundle Made A Difference For Sure, Trigger, Guard, Trigger Bar, Springs, Hammer Brushing & Feed Ramp .... Yeah What A Difference!! Should Be A Factory Standard ... Thank God For MCARBO! A++ For The Instructional / How-To Videos, That Made Upgrading Easy Peasy...Thanks! Pull Reduction & Crispness Noticed Right Off, Travel/Pre-travel .... For Now Lets Just Say That The Jury Is Still Out, As I Didn't Shoot Mine Much (50 Rnds Maybe) Before Upgrading, But A Hunting Buddy Has One That Is Still Factory Stock, And Will Be Hooking Up With Each Other, as It Is Going Into Hunting Season Here, So A Lot Of Camp Days Coming .... So There WILL Be Shooting Of All Kinds, And I'll Be Able To Make A Better/Honest Comparison Concerning Trigger Travel . I Also Have Added Other MCARBO Accessories As Well .... Will Leave My Review On Those @ Their Proper Page!
Love my Kel-Tec Sub2K, but was really disappointed in the heavy trigger pull. M*Carbo has the solution!! In short, after installation of the new trigger kit, it is a pleasure to shoot!! Trigger guard from the kit is a significant improvement! As with all products, the installation video is clear and makes installation possible. Customer service can't be beat. Next mod is the trigger bar, which is currently out of stock, but when I sent an email requesting to be notified when back in stock, I quickly received a response that they would notify me!! Buy quality with quick delivery from Veterans who understand Service!!! Semper Fi!!!
This kit was worth every penny plus all the other great upgrades i installed , was my first time busting open my sub i waited till my brothers in arms m*carbo came out with everything a guy wanted to change or upgrade so a guy really only had to open the gun once u know, we'll see im sure they'll come out with something else so o well ,the flat trigger an spring's are two thumbs up stainless feed ramp ,ugraded hardware,trigger guard it was all worth it in the end.. O yea be easy pulling saftey out i almost lost the spring an that lil brass piece on take down an reassembly so be careful..
Watched the install videos a few times, and had it up while putting things back together to answer any questions. Quality parts made in this kit made a dramatic improvement on the operation of this firearm. It went from acceptably mushy, to feeling like a Swiss watch. (I did get a little polish happy while everything was apart) Great Job Chris!
This kit makes sub2000 feels like an expensive pistol caliber carbine. Recommended to all s2k owners.
Im so glad I did this upgrade. No joke. Just like the other reviews say. Night and day difference no doubt. Completely different firearm after installing. Installing isnt hard. Take your time and if you screw up good..itll help you memorize how to disassembke/reassemble it faster later on. Just watch the video and take your time. Get a good dremel tool or something and polish the feedramp beforehand. Bighly recommend this upgrade.
I've added almost every upgrade that MCARBO offers. I installed the pro trigger bundle this week. This installation was complicated and I actually installed the trigger bar incorrectly and had to take it apart to fix my mistake. Anyone can do this upgrade, but have an ample well lit work space and take it slow. Counting the time it took to take it back apart to fix my mistake it took about 3 hours.
This was a lot easier than I thought I just laid everything out and followed the video step-by-step and when I got lost I just backed up the video and continued. Who rah this trigger job Really wakes up this Carbine at first I thought I put it in wrong because it was so lite
