My SUB2000 is now the PCC it should have been from the factory. Instruction videos make it easy if you know how to use a screw driver. Getting rid of the factory trigger and trigger guard alone made it worthwhile, IMO. The crisper trigger pull was icing on the cake.
I just finished installing this trigger bundle and all i can say is wow!. shipping was very fast, and installation was a breeze with their helpful videos. the aluminum trigger and trigger guard feel great. the trigger is now light and crisp. if you are going to make one upgrade to your sub 2k this should be it!
after doing trigger job (which was pretty simple after videos) I took a 10 pull average of 3lb 1.5oz. nice work fellas

I watched the installation video twice. It was a very simple job to switch out these parts. They make your sub 2k great. The trigger pull is fantastic. It's crisp with very little creep. Just ordered the scope/red dot mount, unfortunately they are back ordered. I can't wait until I get mine to try out all the new parts. From one veteran to another great job, keep it up MCarBo. Install was super easy with your video instructions thanks again oh also the metal feed ramp is definitely a must have item for this weapon I cannot wait to see what is next hint hint sight mount
It was a night and day difference. I can’t believe how much better the trigger is now. Pull weight is much lower, trigger is very crisp, short take up and reset. Went with flat trigger which is the style I prefer
Even though this upgrade was a challenge to install, the results are spectacular. The trigger pull was reduced by 5 pounds, but the creep was reduced by 2/3.
I got the trigger job bundle along with the stainless hammer bushing. I can't believe what a difference it made. It went from a crappy 9lb 2 oz trigger to a clean crisp 4 lb 3 oz trigger with what what seems like 60% of the free travel removed. Pretty simple install after watching the Mcarbo video. Took 20 min or so. All parts fit perfectly and the armors wrench was a big help. Thanks guys for making my shooting experience a more pleasant one. Looks like the red dot mount will be next on the list.
What this carbine should have been from the factory great job on the kit I installed before first shots fired and glad I did I could tell from the work bench it was 100% after the upgrades.
The parts were easy to install and I am totally pleased with the results. The video made a big difference in the ease of installation.
I got the Pro Performance Trigger Job so I could minimize opening the gun up. Watched the install video and ran it in steps while doing the install. This isn't hard to do but it pays to be meticulous... and cover those Jesus clips, spent 15min looking for one 😬. Trigger pull dropped from higher than my gauge can read to 5.5 lbs. I think use will loosen things up a bit. I highly recommend this upgrade and I'd also suggest getting the stainless feed ramp at the same time...guess who didn't 😁
First off, I am NOT a gunsmith. The last time I opened up a firearm I ended up bringing it in pieces to my gunsmith. So I was naturally hesitant to take on this project. Since I had already done a few smaller M*CARBO upgrades (rear sight, muzzle break, recoilless charging handle) and had already watched numerous M*CARBO produced How-To videos, and since bringing the carbine in tiny pieces to my gunsmith was always an option; I decided to try. I had some difficulty of course. I had to start over once and backtrack maybe four times. The most difficult part was getting the hammer to set back. Not sure what I did wrong but when it went it went easy. I was not confident enough in my abilities to apply Loc Tite to all the assembly screws from the outset. Instead I waited until everything was together and then carefully backed out each screw and applied the Loc Tite one at a time. Besides the awesome trigger parts, I think the most important upgrade is the stainless steel feed ramp. My carbine is fairly new (6 weeks) and had about 600-700 rounds through it prior to this upgrade with zero malfunctions. During the install I was able to confirm that the OEM plastic feed ramp was indeed already damaged. One tip had broken off. I don’t have a tool to measure trigger pull before and after, but the difference is immediately noticeable. I have not fired it yet as the Loc Tite needs to set up but all functions checks are good. Just take your time and pause/rewind Chris’s excellent video as needed and your efforts will be rewarded. Don’t skip the polishing part. If you don’t have a Dremmel tool this is an excellent excuse to get one.
If you have a SUB 2000 you need to do the full trigger system upgrade. If you don't need the full kit (I have plenty of installation tools, etc.) you still need all the parts. You may not know why until you do it, but you will definitely know why after. Accuracy and reliability are everything in a gun, and this upgrade increases both in an amazing way. Wow. Just Wow!
This is a really nice made kit. Was super easy to do, took me about 20 minutes to complete. I have never taken a Sub 2k apart, but do am a certified armorer. I can say that the trigger is now clean, crisp and shorter! Proud to be a part of this American organization! CW3, AV
