I bought all internal parts for my PMR and just the steel feed ramp for the sub2000. Then I watched the install video and quickly realized that if I am going to disassemble it , I should do additional upgrades and eventually bought all the parts in the kit, and the 2 finger charging handle, buffer, and stock cover. (I even bought the wood dowel and the small shank tool which I am glad I did because they do help a lot). I followed the video exactly and had no problems at all. I did all the suggested polishing and this gun runs great. I also added an EVA Foam cheek pad which helps with use of a red dot mounted with a Midwest industries mount . It sits higher than the Mcarbo mount so this comb helps. If you really this gun, these upgrades are a must-do, and if you feel you just cant pull it off on your own, Mcarbo or Keltec can do the install for you.

I liked my Sub-2000 and didn’t mind the mushy trigger…. Or at least that is what I fooled myself into thinking. I was kind of on the fence when it came to purchasing this kit because I don’t have a ton of money. Well i decided to pull the trigger and purchase it (yes pun intended) and I am glad that I did. The difference between stock and the full kit really is hard to believe. Its like shooting a completely different gun. I cannot believe the difference it made! The parts are quality and the install is not that hard at all. Over all it took me about 3hrs taking my time and making sure everything was right. The hardest thing for me was getting the C-clips off of the safety. Once that was done it went together no problem. I have built a few AR’s and am familiar with how guns work so that i am sure that helped. However if you watch the video on the M-Carbo YouTube channel and take your time its a fun and easy project for anyone to accomplish. I am completely sold on M-Carbo, and the fact that its veteran owned and everything you buy comes with the 100% lifetime guarantee and is made here in the USA! Well it was the icing on the preverbal cake and seriously you cannot go wrong. It’s money very well spent in my opinion. I have told anyone that will listen how well the products from M-carbo are and will as long as I am on this side of the green grass. Thank you M-Carbo for your service to this great country we have the privilege to live in, and thank you for making a quality product in this age of most always you don’t get what you pay for. After making the decision to purchase a S2K, I immediately started the hunt for accessories. MCARBO was searched. This 'revelation' has come to be the most amazing shopping experience for firearm accessories I have ever experienced. Knowing I did not want to have a list of negatives after taking the gun out for a shoot. I viewed most every installation video for associate parts which was very impressive. From that process and reading several reviews, I made the decision to open the gun one time and purchased the Performance Trigger group, the stainless feed ramp/clean kit, rear notch sight, the tube cover, 2-finger charging handle and recoil buffer. I will have no idea what a "right out of the box, first shot" is like. From the reviews I have read, I believe I will not have missed much. To change everything at the same time, precisely following the excellent trigger replacement video made for an extremely successful Sunday afternoon kitchen table project. What an amazing, fulfilling experience. Left me feeling like I was a true gunsmith! Thanks MCARBO! EVERYTHING disassembled and re-assembled as detailed in the videos. Your customer service may be the best in the world but I had no use for it. Following the detailed videos left no questions to be asked! The Priority 2-day delivery of my package was shocking! I never expected delivery that fast. Forgetting one part, I made a 2nd purchase within a two day period. So anxious to make that purchase, I did not read email. It was get online, go straight to the MCARBO website and submit the order. I then accessed and came across an email offering a 20% price reduction on future purchases. I wrote an email asking if my 2nd order could qualify for the refund since I missed the email. The refund was back on my credit card 48 hrs after asking! I cannot say enough great things about this company. There have been several follow-up messages to insure everything went as it was supposed to and you have to know that this kind of service and response to concerns is more than impressive. The fact that your company is comprised of military veterans is most satisfying. I am a USAF Vietnam vet with a great work record and understood what doing my best was. This company is made up from that impressive stock of individuals, so dealing with MCARBO is an even more satisfying experience. The only slightest of negatives would have to be thickness of the end of the Armorer's wrench that assists in the removal of the clips securing the safety. It is a process that has to be done gingerly to not scratch the area around the ejection port but made more challenging by that excessive thickness. Other than that, what a wonderful experience doing so much to that gun all at one time. Our firearms are generally purchased, clean the barrel and race to the range to get shots downrange. A little different approach this time which will only make me feel a little more attached to the S2K. All set for the Pistol-caliber carbine program now using a gun that will probably hum like a sewing machine. I am literally chomping at the bit. Thanks Guys!!!
I wanted to wait to write a review until I finished the modifications to my KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Gen 2. Using all MCARBO products, I modified my piece muzzle to butt, inside and out and it is awesome. I did all modifications myself with the use of the very well done, easy to follow, installation videos. As a Combat Veteran all I have left to say is Outstanding, Bravo Zulu, and QRK/ZBZ 5'ers. I just installed the Trigger Job Bundle and I'm supper happy with the results! I've had some experience with upgrades on my handguns in the past but have never worked on a Carbine before. I laid all of my tools and upgrades out in a neat and orderly manner and just took my time. There is a video that is 50 minutes and 46 seconds and I just kept watching it and went slow through the install. There are other videos out there for help but believe me the video that last 50 minutes and 46 seconds is the best! This all in one upgrade is a game changer! I enjoyed my Sub 2000 gen 2 as it was, which was a tac driver but these upgrades were definitely an improvement!
This kit is awesome! I followed the video and the installation process was very clear and correct... one item was the trigger washer... apparently the trigger has been refined and the washer is no longer needed - cool. All the other items were spot on... everything works as depicted... Last item - i had to use a different method to get the clip rings on the fire safety control pin... the included wrench end as shown in the video did not produce the same results - could be me but it seems the end is a bit wider then the one used in the video. Worth the purchase.
Had everything I need to do the job. I really Learned how the gun actually works by doing it myself. The instruction videos were very important and helped tremendously... thanks once again!
I got a great deal of satisfaction from doing the Performance bundle. I'm no gunsmith but Chris's video made it easy to accomplish this involved process he explained the steps in normal language like a regular guy. The only problem that I had was getting the "C" clips off of the safety button. The tool did not help me as much as it did in the video. I eventually got the clips free with patience and a lot of "F" bombs, LOL. I had ordered a pack of safety clips when I ordered the bundle and I'm glad I did. That was the only glitch for me. In round numbers my trigger pull went from 10+ lbs. to 4+ lbs. I recommend this bundle to guys that like doing things themselves, the bundle is way cheaper than if you purchased each item separately. This may sound weird but after doing this internal upgrade I got a greater feel of ownership and understanding of the weapon and in a sense a bond of sorts with it. I also did the rear sight, butt stock, muzzle break, bolt tube cover and single point sling upgrades-all went real smooth. A big "Hooah" to MCARBO-your company rocks.

Hi Chris, First of all thank you for your follow-up. In my book this a hallmark of top customer service and support. I received my order in just a couple of days so I was impressed with shipping. I should also add that the shipping rate is fair and just. Many vendors today seem to add to their profit margin through inordinate shipping costs to the consumer. Upon receipt of the parts, I was immediately impressed by the orderly fashion in which the parts are packaged and labeled. Next observation was the obvious quality of every item in the kit. Because of my work schedule, it has been a couple of weeks between the kit arriving and me having time to sit and focus on the task of installation. I finally sat down last evening to tackle my Sub 2K upgrades. With my phone in hand and instructional video qued up, I began the process. This was my first venture of this nature. With my inexperience and multiple interruptions with a very sick wife, I was still able to complete the all of the internal upgrades in well under 90 minutes or so. This is entirely attributed to the awesome instructional video that you have produced to cover this process. Although, it may be several days before I can get to the range for a real “live-fire” test, I can the first impression is WOW! I can see a tremendous difference in the trigger functionality and pull weight. I love the new straight-face trigger as well as the metal break-down release lever. This 2k was already a nice little weapon, the Mcarbo kit just takes this to the next level its just smooth and steady everything you want the flat trigger feel with the kit its beyond my expectations!!!!!!!!!
Fairly simple to install. I had to take it apart twice because I didn't wind the trigger spring properly the first time. The new trigger and reset feel absolutely amazing. I'm a complet beginner when it comes to parts swapping, but the videos guide through every step very clearly. Highly recommend!
Just watched and installed all internal upgrades thanks for a great how to video plus all the better than stock parts. Now have to wait till lock tight to dry. Thanks again Tom PS. I know there is a front sight block out there just wish you guys would mark one.
