This is a very well made part. Nicely polished with no burs anywhere on the part. I know it is a much stronger part than the plastic guide rod it replaces.
Installing this product is too easy, and yet so important for the reliable function of the KelTec PF9. When combined with the MCARBO recoil, and trigger springs, your PF9 will transform into an accurate, and reliable EDC!!!

Please disregard my previous bad review. On second attempt, this time following owner's manual to the letter, I easily installed the new steel rod. Apparently, the written step about holding the barrel down while pulling the slide back is pretty important!! Sorry about my mistake!!!
High quality component and worthy addition especially if you include it among the other great upgrades M*CARBO offers for this firearm. It certainly makes the pistol look less like a toy.
