Same tricky issues as everyone else with the little spring, but finally got it. Although it did lighten the heavy trigger pull, still around 7lbs consistently. Happy, but not WOW with this product.
Installed there trigger spring in my SW9VE, watched the video that they have on there website on installation and it was an very easy install and it has a very easy trigger pull now! These guys go out of there way to provide you with very good products and they go the extra mile to make sure your part fit and it functions as it should!
Great product! Cut my trigger pull weight from 10.6 to 4.9. Pistol is now a joy to shoot. Accuracy went up from not having to work so hard pulling the trigger. Great product and installation video. I highly recommend
This was such an easy upgrade. I was also surprised at how much of an improvement there is for such a small investment. Makes all the difference with the gun. The video was perfect. Very detailed and easy to follow.

Definitely made the trigger much lighter. A 15 minute upgrade that is well worth it.
Easy to install with the video help, except for the little pig tail spring was the most difficult part but the video helped a lot
The mcarbo trigger upgrade for my Smith & Wesson sd9ve was the best investment I ever made. It turned the gun into what it's supposed to be. The kit arrived very quickly and took less than 15 minutes to install. My S&W now has a much crisper trigger stays on target much better. I highly recommend this upgrade to anybody's pistol that has stock trigger Springs.
Bought the SW9VE many years ago as my first home defense firearm. While being a decent gun for the low price the trigger pull was always terrible and was not enjoyable to shoot. This simple upgrade made a world of difference! It’s a whole new gun. I highly recommend.
Easy to install just follow instructions
The video was great - the dowel was more problematic than expected - a close match to my skill. Yet the video compensated with excellent instruction and all worked out - no way to measure the trigger pull other than many rounds. To date: all works great and a much improved trigger pull.
Took my SW40VE from a nasty 12 lb trigger down to a respectable 8 lbs. I know an 8 lb trigger doesn’t sound all that impressive, but when you’ve shot a 12 pounder for several years, this new 8 pounder feels like going from a Pinto to a freaking Ferrari. I also know that the venerable SW40VE gets a bad rap, but for those of us who know how decent a handgun this thing really is... this Mcarbo spring is a “must have” upgrade.
I swapped the factory spring in my Sigma 40 last night. Very helpful video to do the install. I test fired this afternoon and it is a whole new gun. I used to not be able to hold on target as I worked through the 10lb trigger pull. Shot a very nice group this afternoon and will be putting in more range time on this gun now!
Thank God for MCARBO video. Only one spring to change for the trigger pull reduction. Easy take down of parts. Replacing spring not a problem. Reassembly is like a lumberjack in a log rolling contest. Had to recheck assembly referencing MCARBO video. The dowel in the Spring package very helpful. I've got a computer tool kit that has a variety of tools that came in very helpful for this project. Ie: Tweezers, flat blade tools, my wheeler punches. Did it.
