This was an easy upgrade. I installed it with the upgraded springs and love the performance.
This is a great replacement for the flimsy plastic.
Nice upgrade to my old keltec p11. Arrived quickly, nice product.
Very nice. Fits as advertised.
This real, steel guide rod is a nice upgrade for the P11. Not sure why Keltec made theirs out of plastic, but glad M*CARBO makes one out of stainless. Makes loading and shooting the pistol feel more smooth and alive. A nice upgrade.
I Installed this item along with the 20 lb. recoil spring set. The felt recoil was reduced drastically, and the weapon is much easier to control. Great product, and service.
Beautiful Stainless steel guide rod, good quality product.
Excellent upgrade, fast shipping
The perfect replacement for the cheap plastic oem rod. Easier takedown and smoother slide.
Replaced the plastic guide rod with M*Carbo’s stainless steel guide rod. It dropped right in no modification necessary.
P 11 has not seen sunlight since 97 went to charged the weapon didn’t feel right ordered the new stainless steel rod and Springs put them in runs like glass now also helped with magazine retention I guess a cleanup job on it help too
Added this new guide rod along with the 20 lb. recoil spring while upgrading the trigger spring set. I was a bit concerned about adding a steel guide rod after reading on Kel-Tec user groups that it would induce a lot of wear on the hole in the slide. I posed this concern on the MCARBO website and was reassured by the answer from their gunsmith that the new, highly polished guide rod with a little bit of grease on it will work fine. Also, note that polymer guide rods are no longer offered on the Kel-Tec parts website! I haven't shot the upgraded gun yet, but I suspect the recoil will be significantly reduced by the new recoil spring. I will add a range report when I get the opportunity.
Have only fired once since installing but fired without jamming or marring the rod or slide. Huge upgrade to the factory plastic guide rod.
The stock guide rod doesn’t take much to snap in two, so this upgrade is a no brainer.
Fits like it should, works like it should. Can’t ask for more than that.
This is so much better than the plastic original guide rod. This should last a life time.
