Received my order today. It is great went from 5lb 11oz to 3lb 11oz

as usual I did all polishing while waiting for order. Thanks for another install video. The install pin is extremely thin. T thought it was for the hammer pin.

Great kit and instruction

I bought a lot of McCarbo trigger spring kits and followed their instructional videos with great results in the past. This kit is no exception. 10 pull average with digital lymans trigger gauge was 5# 4oz’s before, after installation it was 1# 15.5 oz’s. Tested it and also safety bump tested it multiple times. Perfect. I love it. If your on the fence, try it, it’s not like it costs a lot.

This kit will cut your trigger pull in half. It’s simple to install and it shipped fast.

I have installed 3 spring kits from mcarbo and I’ve been more than impressed with them all.

Great product!

Great product couldn’t be happier. The installation toll is a little smaller than what’s in the installation video. Customer service was top notch when I addressed the issue. The products and customer service are above and beyond any company I’ve dealt with in the past.

Great product.

Improved significantly

Spring kit improved significantly on the trigger pull. Just overcoming the factor 2lb. reset helps. Moving on to polishing for the next move. Included dowel to help hold parts together could be a little larger diameter, it tends to fall out during re-assembly. Other than that, a fine product, easy install and worth the $$.

Install tool is too small

Bought the spring kit along with the polishing kit after watching your video on doing a trigger polishing. (Very good information on the video, btw, although the autofocus continually going in and out of focus was rather annoying) The installation tool included in the kit is way too small for my trigger subassembly and was causing a lot of frustration trying to keep the sub assembly together and get it back into the trigger housing. I improvised with a q tip and an Exacto knife, cutting a piece of the q tip stem to fit. It was the perfect diameter, and the subassembly went right back together easy peasy...

Just 'Pull the trigger...'

This trigger spring kit is a 'no brainer.' Any shooter will discover a smooth trigger response and improved pull over a stock trigger! My upgrade was to improve the quality of a Ruger BX Trigger. Ruger had boasted an 'out of the box pull' between 2.5 and 3 lbs! With guage in my hand, I took three pulls that performed 2.7 lbs. Ruger was 'true' to their word.

After my trigger assembly sitting apart for a week (with a missing sear spring,) I was just as excited to rebuild my trigger assembly. I put the entire unit together in record time (forgetting to polish the hammer and sear assembly.) Well, I disregarded taking apart the trigger assembly and took three more trigger readings. With the M*CARBO Trigger Spring Installation. the trigger pulled at an oustanaching 1lb 6 oz! I am very excited with those numbers. Thanks for all your help Chris Nelson and M*CARBO Brotherhood!

I reduced the pull weight on my 10/22 from 5 pounds down to just above 4 pounds. I even shined up the hammer and sear mating surfaces. I guess I was hoping for more. There was also another spring I wasn't expecting. I believe it was the spring between the sear and disconnector. In any case that's where I put it. This is a good quality product; it just didn't bring the pull weight down as much as I would have liked.

Little to no difference

After following the YouTube video and polishing the recommended parts with their kit I noticed very little to no difference in my Ruger 10-22 with the spring kit. When comparing my 10-22 to a family members, who's is stock from Ruger, there is very little difference. Definitely not a reduced trigger pull of approximately 1/2 of stock pull as advertised. Would be nice to have a tool to measure the lbs but I do not have one.

It is possible I did something wrong, but the process seemed simple enough. Overall I'd go another route.

Lots of Part to Disassemble and Reassemble

The video was awesome. The disassemble and reassemble directions were spot on. The polishing of parts and the cleaning advise were terrific, too. Considering all the parts involved I am impressed I accomplished this task on my first try. The results were good, but not great. The stock trigger pull was pretty light, so making it 50% less was only about a pound difference.

Loving the feel!

After the install, the trigger pull feels so much lighter and crisp. Watching the install video really helps, and polishing up all the necessary parts as recommended by the video is a big plus. If you’re thinking about upgrading your trigger and don’t want to spend a lot money, you’ve come to the right place!

Mcarbo 10/22 spring kit

I have an older metal trigger group and it had a rough 5-1/2 lb. trigger pull. I followed the Mcarbo YouTube video step by step. I polished all engagement surfaces and applied super lube grease were it was instructed. Replaced the springs and reassembled the trigger group. My trigger really smoothed up and the trigger breaks at 4-1/2 lbs. now. For $13.00 trigger job, I'm happy with the results. I prefer a lighter pull weight but the level of smooth trigger pull I got I can deal with the 4-1/4 lb. Pull weight.
