Installed Ruger spring kit in my factory target model 10/22. Great install video on this from Mcarbo. Keep in mind my trigger had been worked on by a gunsmith and was down to 2 lb. 4 oz. trigger pull. After installing the spring kit it is now 1 lb. 9 oz. you can't go wrong by using this kit especially for the price. Also follow there guide on the video to polish the parts while you have it apart . God Bless ! Scott Kyle

After installing these springs and polishing the parts according to the video, the trigger pull only dropped .5 lb from factory 5 lbs to 4.5 lbs. the video show a 2.13 lbs factory ( unlikely) pull and a 1.7 after( about .5 lbs ). Don’t expect more than that

Great product! I’m very happy with the results! The m*carbo video on installation is great! If u are new to doing your own trigger work, the video is a must! Polishing the parts shown in the video is worth as much or more than changing the springs! No matter what u are doing a trigger job on, watch this video first!

Fine product, fast shipping. Requires a bit of patience but watch the install video a few times before beginning the work. Great product. Make sure you have the small punches to make it easier. Good product with great results.

At the risk of boring people I submit this review only to show the variance in factory stock rifles. I have now completed the installation of 4 different 10/22's. After polishing the sear and hammer as Cris did in the Video, the results were amazing as to the smooth take up crystal break, all were great. As for the pull reduction this last had the following results as measured with a Wheeler Trigger Pull guage and 5 pulls averaged.

Before M*Carbo = 3.12.2 lbs. After M*Carbo 2.4.3 lbs. This is significant, and while it may not lower to the extent of the Ruger BX drop in trigger it's a heck of a lot less expensive and in my opinion an excellent upgrade. My experience with the four different rifles was that the percentage of trigger pull reduction was not at all consistent, They measured 31.4%, 60.6%, 71%, & 77.8% the reason for showing these results it to say that each rifle being of mass production quality has a significant variation in the trigger system, that's why Ruger built and sells the after market trigger as it is custum shop produced and provides a consistent 2 lb. pull but it's a lot more expensive than this trigger kit which give's you the smoothness, and crystal break with a pull reduction that is close to theirs's if not more, and is a lot less expensive. Anyway enough of my rambling, I hope this helps as I am a firm believer in M*Carbo for a inexpensive with quality upgrade, on anything they sell and I have now used 25 of their kit's with great result's and happy customer's. Thanks M*Carbo.

Installed kit in my Talos Ruger 10-22, polished hammer & sear as in video. Trigger pull tested with a 3 pull average on a Wheeler Trigger pull digital scale. Results were much smoother pull and crisper break. Pull test results below.

Before M*Carbo 4.9.8 lbs.

After M*Carbo 3.0.2 lbs. Good reduction but still not down to the Ruger BX trigger which tests consistently at 2.0 lbs.

I reduced my trigger pull to 3.25 pounds. It was rather easy to install. Of course I had some difficulties because I never took the entire trigger apart before! LOL. Pays to take the time to learn and save money on Do It Yourself.

I plan on doing a good polishing of the sear as well.

Good quality springs and easy installation with detailed M*CARBO video. Took trigger from 6 lb 4 oz down to 4 lb 3 oz. With a little polishing of sear, disconnector, hammer and trigger return spring pocket (with q-tips and flitz) made take up smooth and light with clean crisp break. Highly recommend as low cost big return upgrade to the classic Ruger 10/22

I installed the reduced force trigger return spring and sear spring with a new Volquartsen trigger and new TandemKross disconnector. I polished the trigger assembly parts, and the hammer as described in your video. I removed the bolt and radiused the rear bolt edge which contacts and cocks the hammer, and then polished the bolt and installed the skeletonized TK charging handle and the TK auto bolt release. I installed shims on either side of the sear and disconnector with a dab of synthetic grease. The Volquartsen trigger reduced both pre- and post travel, and the trigger spring reduced the trigger pull. With this trigger mod, the trigger pull weight was reduced from 6# to 2 - 1/4# !!! Smooth crisp break ! May be too light, but what a difference!! Thanks, M-CARBO for these quality springs and helpful video instructions.

The Ruger 10/22 trigger spring kit did very well in my 10/22 magnum rifle. Brought the pull from 8.5 ponds to 5.2 pounds and I can be very happy with that The alignment pin supplied in the kit is really to small a diameter, kept dropping out during assembly , Apiece of 10 gauge aluminum wire, cut to the same length, worked perfectly well, Thanks MCARBO

Slick change out

Awesome that MCarbo links detailed instructional videos with most of their part installs. This spring kit along with polishing kit for sure reduced pull down around 3lbs I’m guessing I don’t have way to officially test it.
