Charging handle won’t lock back . Installed original an works fine . Reinstalled an same problem . They said they sent a response. I can’t see it because says password is incorrect. Did that 5 times already!!!!!!! Pissed
Used a caulking gun to compress spring. Also used bolt from gun to keep spring straight.
Order this and videos down by Mcarbo we’re very detailed and easy to follow. Super easy to install and works great so far. Original product started allowing my mcarbo charging handle to fall out over time (over 1k rds). This integrated piece has held up fine for almost 500 rds. It makes field stripping and cleaning even easier.
Very good product. Had experience with AK47 recoil spring assembly’s so install was no problem for me.
This integrated Tool-Less Locking Pin was easy to install. Thank you for the install video. The new locking pin makes disassembly (bolt handle removal and reinstall ) a breeze. Definitely worth the money. Amazing products at MCARBO!!!
This part came when I purchased the recoilless charging handle. This part is great for easy for field stripping and sits much nicer inside charging handle compared to factory setup.
First off I cannot say enough good things about M-Carbo ; very fast shipping, great staff and attentive to the needs of their customers. I upgraded my Sub2000 Multi-Mag to the Glock version as well as most of the internal parts including this one. M-Carbo is hands down the best source of aftermarket parts for your Sub2000 that I have been able to find online ; even better than Kel-Tec themselves
Mainly I am happy with myself for being to get this product installed on my recoil spring. I watched the video a couple of times and tried to duplicate what I saw there. And then I gave up worrying about it and just did it. Once I got the split end of the wire inside the spring to spread open, and the little black plastic piece could be removed, I knew I was home free. I dropped in the new locking pin and rotated the spread wire so it closed. Job done! After that I had zero trouble getting the pin aligned in my new double finger charging handle. The only thing I discovered is that without M*Carbo's "cherry lifesaver", or recoil buffer, the butt end of my spring did not want to center on the piece that goes back in the end of the tube. An added benefit of the recoil buffer is to center that spring on the main buffer at the end of the tube. So I'm ordering again from M*Carbo to get a much-needed part.
I ordered the recoilless charging handle and integrated tool-less recoil spring parts. Shipping was prompt and the parts were easy to install. Mcarbo has great video installation instructions, which made the process simple, easy to follow, and very efficient. Very pleased with Mcarbo parts, shipping, and installation. These are great upgrades to the Kel-Tec Sub 2000.
Got the integrated locking pin installed yesterday. Took a bit of effort but what a big difference getting the SUB put back together! MUCH less hassle. Great product and great service as always from MCARBO!
I already had the charging handle for a while now and love it until breakdown time. The old style was always a pain to reassemble plus needing tools. I was about to put the stock handle back in when this part came out. Not real easy part to install but totally worth it when you do. Now no screwdriver and grease to install and no small part to lose. Must have upgrade if you have the Mcarbo charging handle without it.

This is a much better way to secure the handle. The video was very helpful and made it pretty smooth.
I installed it in 15 minutes,kind of tricky to compress it, once compressed the rest is easy, I am 62 with early onset of arthritis, and I did it just fine.
For me, it was a bugger to install. But I did get it installed! That being said, What An Improvement. Much more positive charge handle response...no slop, which makes it easier to charge
