Followed the Utube instructions and easy install for the 2 spring set. Not sure if it made any difference but works good and my pistol has a smooth trigger

I purchased the Gen 1 kit for my P938. The instructional video was all I needed for my success. I have not shot it due to COVID shutdown of my range but I am VERY pleased with the dryfire results and I cannot wait to try it out. Great job guys and awesome support in the video.

Easy install and works well

I followed the excellent and very detailed video on YouTube and did exactly what he said. The total time including the polishing was 35-40 minutes. Trigger feels great and the gun continues to function flawlessly.

Easy Install, but...

...I recommend using a clear plastic bag when re-installing the safety spring and "detent plunger," or you will be ordering another one like I had to : ( That little dude will go shooting into the next dimension if you don't watch out!

Otherwise, the springs seem excellent and after some moderate polishing, the trigger seems vastly improved. Can;t wait to take it to the range. It is a great video and a super detailed walkthrough and I cannot wait to get started on my next project (92 FS).

I really found Chris' advice on how to polish stuff to be the most valuable, actually. Prior to finding this website, I would have sworn that having a power tool in the same room as a firearm is a recipe for disaster. The video really took the 'unknown' out of the equation for me and I realized there wasn't any secret "mojo" to it--just a bit of time and attention to detail.

Fast shipping, great follow up, and excellent customer service. Thank you, guys. I'll be back!

Easy Install....great video.

This spring kit worked just as advertised and turned a gun that was awful to shoot into a gun that is a joy to shoot. I don't know what the hell Sig is doing with its triggers, but as far as I am concerned if you buy a new 938 you MUST buy this kit. Incidentally...their customer service is great..no waiting and you get a real, knowledgable person on the phone.

The video on the website is excellent. I had no problem with the install. Haven’t been to the range yet, so can’t comment on performance improvement other than trigger action is lighter.

I watched your video prior to ordering the kits for my 938 and my wife's 238... Thanks for that! It made the installation uneventful- no lost springs!

They resulted in an after installation pull of 5.2 lbs for the 938 and 6.5 for the 238. A loss of around 1.5 lbs each. Slick enough for carry guns.

She's happy, I'm happy, the dogs... not so much. They're not happy with all the shooting noise!

As a very amateur gunsmith I found the videos instructive and makes the installations doable for even DYI rookies like myself.

Easy istallation with video.

worked very well on my 238 Legion, dry fire with caps felt actually stiffer...but range time smoothed it up.

Also polished ramps, sear/hammer, wear area on bottom of slide, with the polishing kit from MCarbo.

Easy to install. Reduced trigger pull

Installation of the reduced power firing pin spring and hammer spring on my P238 was super easy, especially following the nicely detailed video on the site.

Installing the firing pin spring is like it is on other guns. The clever way to change the hammer spring, however, was different, but also easy.

The trigger pull is now in the 3.5# range.

I would definitely recommend this quick mod to others.

Easy upgrade, dramatic improvement

Love my Sig P938, but the trigger pull was pretty heavy (about 8 lbs). I could still shoot it very accurately, because it's a good single action trigger, even if it was too heavy. It's had a lot of rounds through it, so it was already well broken-in. Installation of these springs was very easy, and the method shown in the video allowed for easy polishing of the hammer. After the work, the trigger pull was much smoother and about half the weight. Now I can shoot this even more accurately---amazing for this pocket gun!

One bit of advice: be really careful when removing and re-installing the safety lever! My detente plunger and spring shot out several times, even though I was trying to be very careful; fortunately, I found it each time! If I ever do this again, I'll cover everything loosely with a cloth or perhaps some clear plastic wrap to catch the parts as they launch themselves.

I did encounter a few light primer strikes on some reloads with Remington Small Rifle Primers (notoriously hard primers, used here as test of worst case). Fewer light strikes than my factory Walther P99 with these same primers, just to put this in perspective, but I'd never had a single light primer strike with this gun in its factory configuration. This is to be expected when lightening up springs, but function was 100% with all actual pistol primers. Probably wouldn't want to use Russian steel-cased ammo with this spring kit.

Everything I hoped for

This is the 13th item I bought form M*CARBO, including three trigger kits. All have proven excellent in form, fit, and function, and had a detailed installation video. The Gen 2 trigger kit reduced the pull on my Sig 938 Legion from 5.5 lbs. to 3.75 lbs., which is right in my sweet spot. Installation was easy, except for a couple steps where my shaky hands and old eyes created challenges: 1) aligning ejector and sear, then installing the pin in place of the punch holding them in place; 2) installing that damnable safety detent plunger -- knowing it will go airborne a few times, I do it inside a large zip-lock bag so I don’t lose that tiny plunger. I may beg Sig to lengthen the stem and make a tight enough fit to retain it in the detent spring during installation.

exactly as described

I ordered the kit for my sig 938. Received the order quickly and the video was excellent. I went from 6.2 avg. to 3.8 avg. lb. pull. I am now installing a kit in a friends Kimber micro 9. Thanks for a product that works as advertised.

Exactly what the P238 needed!

Loved my P238....except the trigger. I ordered the M*carbo kit and the polishing kit and I could not have asked for more. Shipped very fast and the installation was very easy. The You Tube video makes it a snap. The trigger is now very smooth and checks out at 3.6#,( give or take .2). I definitely would recommend this to anyone who is not happy with the trigger of the P238/P938.
