Review
I have bought MCARBO products in the past and found them all to be excellent. Sorry to say this kit was a dud. It was an easy install but did nothing for the trigger. if anything, it is slightly worse. Started at b5.5 lbs., now closer to 6. Don't understand but it certainly didn't help. I may put the original springs back in.
Been disassembled 1911 a lot and this is 99% similar to it Very nice P238 Trigger Kit Glad I came across to this excellent Trigger Kit and I will tell everybody that I know has this gun to do the same and for the one who is looking at this review don’t hesitate to purchase this Kit, you will not disappointed
Work like charm. Great results!!! Love them on my P230.
I purchased the first spring kits mcarbo put out for this gun. I bought two one for p238 and one for my p938. Videos were super helpful for install and polishing surfaces. Thank you for that. I do not feel a noticeable difference in either fire arm from the spring kit. However, I do not have a Guage to verify. I am not seeking to return either kit. Since both are GEN 1 I am unable to utilize the new addition of the improved sear spring. The customer service was excellent as we did talk through this issue.
These work great I have them in both my P238 and 938 legion trigger pull is dramatically reduced hammer is much smoother and the rest is far better with the kits
Installed spring kit in my legion, don’t have a pull gauge but I believe I got a least a one pound reduction. Shot 100 rounds with no issues, gun works perfectly.
P938 Legion model. Just did the springs plus polishing of the hammer & feed ramp. You could see and feel one hell of a difference. The trigger now easily compares to some other pistols I’ve spent over a $100.00 on having custom shops “cleanup the trigger”. DO WATCH the YouTube video from MCARBO on doing this job. I guarantee it saved me from using a lot of foul language because of never disassembling this firearm to this level yet. Nothing worse than spring loaded parts flying across the room. And the video definitely saved me from that. Thanks MCARBO for a great product that has a great instructional video.
This kit is the BEST thing that I have ever did to any of my weapons. Your video is very easy to follow and my SIG is a different pistol. Thanks
This kit is very easy to install and makes the trigger pull much better.
Ordered the spring kit and polishing kit. Easy to install. There is a video which will help those not familiar with replacing these parts. Very straight forward and easy to do. I would encourage you to polish the hammer and feed ramp. Polish DO NOT SAND! Thank you for a great product
I had heard of your product from a friend who stated your product is excellent. My only concern was that I found the price to be much lower that I expected (please don't increase it). I reviewed the video twice and then replaced the factory springs. All I can say is anyone that buys one of your items is getting a Great deal. Thanks
Installed following step by step video. Changed out P238 and P938 during one session. Have the correct tools and some patience toward the end and you end up in the success column. Results using a mechanical Wheeler trigger pull guage over 5 resets. P-238 is now 5.0 #; P-938 is now 4.25 # Did not have the guage prior to upgrade but results are in line with results advertised. Results at the range were impressive resets and rapid fire.
I liked my SIG 938 with a bit of trigger work and then installed the M-CARBO spring kit. Much easier then cutting or experimenting with factory springs. I used my Virus money to buy a second SIG 938 for family/back up and bought the spring kit again. Its a good system.
Watching the video with it’s great pictures and detailed descriptions it makes it easy. Would recommend their products to everyone. Their prices are wonderful and shipping is great. The people on the phone are great and so is their tech help. Why would you go anywhere else? Tom
This kit reduced my trigger pull fro 5 to 3 pounds. I followed the video which included polishing the hammer. I would recommend it.
