Review
I had been wanting a PCC for quite awhile and was hesitant about the Sub 2000. Until I came across a video on You tube reviewing the MCarbo sub 2000. I knew right away I had to have it. From the get go everyone there at MCarbo was awesome. I hadn't even ordered yet but had many questions and they just kept helping me along the way with my decision making process. Most gun shop people I've met are pretty stiff. The gals and guys at MCarbo are some of the most genuine and friendly people I've dealt with. Now to the gun WOW!!!! Right out of the box the difference is unbelievable this is a Cadillac when they get done with it. What a difference changing a few polymer parts for steel makes. The gun just feels solid. I'll be back for the sight mount for sure for now I mounted a sight mark laser light combo on the bottom pic rail which allows it to close without removing it. I haven't had the chance to shoot it yet but cant wait to get it out for a run or two. These guys and gals are awesome if your on the fence the customer service alone is worth it.
Just wanted to add on, I opted for the multi mag, since my EDC is a Sig. Yeah I know "Glock Glock Glock" anyway the P320 mag catch works great, you must use the 17-21 round full size mags or the larger 32 round Pro Mag. The compact 15 round mags will not catch!!!!
This is my first sub2000, I really enjoyed the idea of the sub 2000, function and size. Everything you need and nothing you don't. clearly did not have the quality that would lead to the reliability I like to have in my guns. The upgrades clearly solve my objections. I am at 500 rounds with zero miss fire or problems, and very accurate. I was surprised how well the sights worked, This makes this gun the most fun weapon I own. I love plinking with this rifle. Great job! and also Great customer service.
Hi Boys, I have my new Sub 2000 Mcarbo limited edition # 000050. I love the gun, I love all the Mcarbo modifications. The rifle and the mods all get 5 stars. As a women I am finding the sub 2000 a bit too long to shoulder correctly and use the sights to aim, ugh. Yes i believe I have the stock set at the shortest length. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate the help. Many Thanks, Cheryl
Looks spectacular everything has a great fit I can hardly wait to shoot it. Home run Mcarbo Home run
If you plan on getting yourself a 9mm carbine, and are thinking about the sub2000. I am 100% with you. It’s very compact 9mm rounds. Folds well and takes Glock mags! Hell yea! But if you don’t plan on buying the upgrades or better yet...This^ listing. DONT BOTHER BUYING! Yes the sub2000 is a great price stock... but you get your money’s worth... Save yourself the time and disappointment And purchase directly from MCarbo! Limited edition serials plus laser engraving! Man am I happy with the purchase. Such a crowd pleaser at the range. Very fun plinker. I have upgraded mine with everything MCarbo has to offer outside of this listing. I highly recommend them all. - optic mount - butt stock pad Now on top of all this greatness! The best part MCarbo team! Very knowledgeable. Very friendly. Great experience. You will not regret your purchase of this gun, the upgrades, or any parts you purchase from MCarbo. I have borrowed a stock Sub2k many times at the range and after getting my M Series I can say that it is nowhere close to the same gun. The three things that stood out to me are....less recoil, WAY better trigger, & better rear sight. I am stacking dimes with this thing! Supporting the company also was important because of the Veterans working there. Thanks M*CARBO!
Can get this at any gun shop for 450

This M-Series Sub 2000 is perfect. Completely worth every penny. The attention to detail is impeccable. I will be purchasing from my Military Brothers here at M*Carbo again. Thank y'all for putting in the time and effort into your products.
Great option for getting all upgrades out of the box! You won’t be left disappointed.
I truly hope this is the beginning of many more collaborations with companies (specifically America ones) like Keltec to bring EXTREMELY improved firearms to the market. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get an MCarbo edition CQB.
After a very long time researching what I wanted to get, I settled on a Kel Tec Sub 2000. Then I began looking into how to make it more in line with what I was looking for. This product from MCARBO is...well as close to perfect as I could ask for. I wanted a weapon that could travel with me, by easily concealed, lightweight, , minimal recoil, with options to allow accurate shot placement at 100-200 yards. The key to successful combat is being armed, being ready first, landing the first well placed shot, and the last well placed shot. All as quickly as possible. This MCARBO Carbine will give you an edge. Combined with a Red Lion Folding Front sight, A Pistol Style Tac Light, and their epic red dot mount, I can use my wide aperture peep sight for point blank, and transition to my AT3 Tactical RD-50 2MOA Red Dot for all range precision. Coupled with a rail mounted bi-pod, the accuracy at 70+ yards is astounding. V8 cans splatter and fly feet backwards with JHPs. No missing with this thing. The weapon is very quiet. I don't even NEED ear plugs. The impulse is absurdly low for a weapon of such decent power. Mostly a left right sight shake, almost no rise. The Recoilless Charging Handle should be considered a must. If you think about it, the extra weight on the handle should increase the shell chamber linger time during discharge. One might guess this would slightly increase power as well as limit recoil. With their single point sling mount and a Magpul Single point sling, the total weapon is far from a burden to carry while deployed. I personally feel set. I don't need a 5.56 platform now. I have this for 0-150 yards and my bolt action for all the rest. As a note, the plastic Kel Tec stock front forearm rails SUCK. Don't waste your money as I did trying to fit it with a long eye relief scope. If you can find a .83" riser that does not rock when tightened, you may soon find, as I have, that the rail is so off parallel with the barrel, that you can't even calibrate it to a zero. Disappointing to say the least on that end. I had it laser bore sighted too...guess the top rail warped with use. Never the less, that may have been a bridge too far for this masterpiece. The Trigger is very good. I would stop short of excellent, because the trigger on my bolt action is just that, but the MCARBO trigger is very good. Not quite as crisp a break as I like, but does not seem to affect my aim at all. At least not within this weapon's working distance. Nice short reset. Given the drop chart calculators, this should be theoretical able to hit a man sized target at up to 250 yards with double height hold over. I use 115 grain standard pressure. I assume it to move around 1300 FPS out of this barrel. You can climb up to the 1500-1600 range with some hotter loads however. Also, JHP still may expand at 100 yards given the calculators. 50 yards, for sure. But I'll tell you this: A 5.56 that fails to fragment at 100+ yards makes a .22 hole. Even if the JHP fails to expand, it will never shrink smaller than a .355 hole, right through the target. Fun to shoot, easy to carry, accurate, lightweight, easy to conceal, fast to deploy, and takes Glock 33 round magazines. What more could you need for a close range weapon? (50 round mags...I know....)
I bought the fully upgraded version in G17. Had it driving nails at 100 yards with cheap ammo, having chosen the notch sight option, I'm thinking I would have preferred the peep sight, but with the optic mount, the SIG Romeo5 works great so iron sights aren't that big a deal. Shoots well with both, easy to flip the Romeo out of the way if you want to go iron. I was having a situation where there was some gas discharging through the trigger assembly and blackening my finger and thumb. I'm assuming because of the breakdown seams. Not a huge issue if you clean it good. Ran 600 rounds of Magtech brass through it right out of the box with only 2 jams. (Probably due to the cheap ammo. No misfires. ProMag makes a 32 round clip that ran great. Overall, a ton of fun to shoot and had everyone wanting a turn. Very solid for a backpack gun, just be careful of knocking the sight against anything, it does stick out a bit when folded. I'm very happy with it so far. Love the flat trigger and the extended mag release. The little things make it. Thanks guys for making a solid product
This is a fun shooting carbine with the upgrades provided in this package. I'd like to thank the team for getting this to me with requested customization in a timely fashion.
