Overall I love my sub 2k. But I was definitely surprised how scratched up it was when I opened the box. I contemplated having my ffl dealer sending it back but have been looking forward to getting this for so long I can get over the scratches. I get this is a tool but I like being the one to scratch it. Not being so scratched up right out of the box.
Just received my Sub 2kM and ran a few hundred rounds through it. Took it straight to the range, pulled it out of the box, grabbed some loaded magazines out of my Glock pouch and started shooting. No hiccups with its operation but my head requires some contortion to use the flip up sights. Problem should be fixed with the flip up optic mount and my Holosun. Otherwise M*Carbos improvements seem to work well with the weapon. I’ve never used a factory Sub 2k so I can’t speak to the differences but this particular gun shoots well and pleasantly. A load of fun and I foresee lots of use as it’s going to be my Gator gun (as in John Deere Gator).

This is one of the best shooting guns you could own. Recoil is not bad at all. There are always little things people could complain about with any gun, but the sub 2000 is excellent. I could strike a match with it. Kel-tec nailed it with this gun!! One of my favorite guns in my collection. My kids and wife love it also.
After firing the gun indoors and outdoors around 300 rounds I've found the gun reliable and easy to use like the compactness the inexpensive round of 9 mm it's a lot of fun I've added optic mount with romeo 5 red dot and so far it's working great also grips butt stock pad overall very happy with it I think the upgrades brings the gun up at least a couple of levels the trigger is great smooth the install videos are of good quality did a field strip to clean and discovered after some time the hammer needs to stay cocked while doing field strip ALSO when putting back the bolt insert bolt IF it still doesn't slide in all the way TURN IT UPSIDE DOWN (gravity) and it will slide in no problem discovered this when I was trying to get a look to see what was stopping it and broke gun in two turning it upside down there's always some small thing that can gum things up But it's easy now first time is always the hardest Overall very happy with the gun
I was interested in a pistol caliber carbine to work with some of my Smith and Wesson pistols. The Sub2000 looked like a fun to use gun along with my Smith and Wesson Model 59 9mm. All the videos helped me make up my mind about the purchase. I have a couple of other KelTech items and Chris's videos answer all the questions. I have later added the red dot sight mount for a Trijicon MRO.

They make something from awesome to Unbelievable!!! Please make more M*Series cambered in both 9mm & 40 Cal. I would get one more 9mm and one in 40 Cal totally worth it hands down!!! Next would be nice if you boys would make a 10mm conversion kit for existing 40 Cal units if possible.
All I can say is, “This thing rocks!” I’m having more fun with this new PCC setup than I could have imagined. The MCarbo limited edition upgrades are amazing and makes this function exceptionally well. All my friends are jealous. The buying experience and super fast shipping were all first class as well. I’m a HUGE fan now of MCARBO products. :-)
This is a well made rifle. Very light weight. It's the envy of my gun toting friends. Glad I waited until the right rifle appeared. Shipping was fast. I also ordered and installed the butt plate which was very easy to install. Bottom line: I would order the same equipment again.
My Keltec Sub2000 is an awesome Pistol Calibre Carbine and the upgrades from M*Carbo have made it one of the finest rifles I've ever owned. So fun to shoot. The optic mount is the best! All the upgrades were high-quality materials and worth it. Customer service is the best in the industry. They were always emailing to update me. Day 1, shot 300 rounds. No MF, SP, no jambs, smooooooth shooting. M*Carbo is simply the best.
I dont know what the Sub2k is without these mods...but my buddies do. Everyone who has shot the MCARBO Sub2k wanted to know where they could buy it or at least where they could pick up the modifications. "Dramatic improvement" "Much Better than Mine" "Where'd you say you got this?" Nuff said.
This is the ultimate backpack gun from Kel-Tec but the factory model doesn't add up. At the last minute they came out with the latch and they installed that too. Great service. The gun opens easy and quick, I can deploy with one hand. I love the upgrades so much I contacted the factory to let them know how the folks at M*Carbo turned there great product into the perfect bug out essential tool. I also got the butt pad. Not for recoil because with the muzzle brake there is not much. But it helps keep it locked into my shoulder making it more better.... I picked up PMag 33 round Mags make it so you spend more on lead. It's such a pleasure to shoot that 33 rounds end up down range too fast. I'm gonna tell ya it's worth every penny to order with every upgrade they make. NO, I don't work there but I have ordered all the up grades for my other tools. PMR and CMR 30, 10/22, and mini 14. Keep up the good stuff
