I have this in two different handguns. Installs in minutes and the product is visibly better than the factory part.
I installed the take down pin and spring. The form fit and function was excellent. A tip I would offer during the reinstallation of the hammer spring is if you have trouble getting a grip on the hammer spring with the needle nose pliers then use a paper clip through the hook on the spring then grab the paper clip with the needle nose pliers to pull the spring up and over the retention pin.

I was on you tube looking for a replacement takedown pin for my lcp ruger. I came across the MCARBO video. I ordered it and now I have peace of mind knowing my firearm is less prone to have a catastrophic failure.Easy install great material.
I purchased two pins to replace the ones in my LCP Custom and Max. I never had an original come completely out of the Custom but out far enough to cause the head to sheer off. These pins are far superior to the originals. Holding them side by side makes the difference noticeable.

I've had my LCP for several years, and I've decided to upgrade it. I'm on a tight budget, so when I found Mcarbo I knew I could start. I started with the guide rod and takedown pin. Parts arrived in good terms and condition. Installation was a snap. Very pleased.
My first order from MCARBO arrived like lightning! The parts look and install just fine. I do have this question - in the install video for the LCP Pin you didn't mention the new clip that came with the pin. I haven't broken my gun down to look, so maybe the install is so simple you didn't mention it, but why no explanation of install on the clip? I'm very impressed with all the install videos you have for your parts! I have two additional orders I'm waiting on. I assume the little "Warning" to have parts installed by a competent gunsmith is merely a legal escape for your company if something is installed incorrectly by the customer? So far very satisfied and impressed by your products and your delivery system!

Just received 3 of these pins (2 for wife and me, and one for a friend). I had previously watched the installation video, and this is AS ADVERTISED. This installation took me less that 2 minutes for each gun! I spent more time admiring it than it took to install it! Pretty amazing! I particularly liked the new design and material it's made from. For such a simple, yet important part, this is a no brainer to have. I think I will be purchasing the guide rod next!
hello,i have order a few items from mcarbo for various weapons and have been satisfied with the purchase ,but in this particular case not very happy ,the pin sent to me does not look any different than the original ruger pin ,is not any thicker it does not have the features that is described in their videos ,i know it's a small item but is not what is advertise . very dissaponinting !
I purchased this item in May of 2022 and it has been a complete failure! The pin does not stay in place. It tends to come out of the firearm. I have called and chatted with Mcarbo about this. They asked me when I purchased this and I told them it was on May 20th. Along with the take down pin I bought a stainless steel guide rod on my master card. I also called the store and was told they would send another pin.....still waiting! I am thinking they just want me to go away ....lol. For the record, I am very disappointed. The pin I am unhappy with that they sent me, was not even the one pictured in their ad. They said it was an upgraded version.....for me it was a total failure!

Definitely an improvement over the stock pin, so I have zero complaints. I don’t worry about breaking off the head of the M’carbo pin. The stock one always looked thin and fragile to me.
Makes the take down of the LCP2 way easy.
