recommend this Ruger LCP take-down pin way better than the OEM pin. Hands down the ordering and shipping is bar none.
Great product. Idiot proof install. Had purchased one from a competitor prior, wish I'd bought this one first and saved my money.
Like everything else I bought from MCARBO the quality is so much better than the original manufacturer part. I really love the double dimple marks is cool and makes things just a bit easier. DM

A great replacement for the original, had to use the original spring could not get the pin in with new spring, used old spring and lined up perfectly

Great pin , a lot better quality and design
Very pissed off that my gun is boogered up thanks to this poor design. I installed the pin correctly as per the instructions with the two dots in the proper locked position. I actually liked how easy it made take downs. I fired off 6 shots and right after my final round, the pin worked itself loose and the slide shot forward off of the God damned gun. Even the gun range officer told me not to use these gimmicky pins and stick with the factory one from now on. Embarrassing as hell to have to stop the ENTIRE range so he could go and retrieve my slide, barrel, springs and guide rod that smacked right to the floor. Shame on you for selling my this junk. Now my LCP II slide is Cosmetically damaged thanks to this pin. Why couldn't you make something exactly like the factory pin with the same tough material as your pin? I see this has also happened to other people too. I'll be spreading the word in every gun group I'm in of my experience as well as any website I come across. I've never been this pissed off to write a review on any product in my life. I'd rather risk breaking my factory pin while disassembling than have my slide fly off when I need it in an emergency.
They were backordered, and the company informed me via text message that they were in. The Customer service and support was Outstanding. The takedown pin is the weakest part of the otherwise excellent lcp2. I have much more confidence in the weapon now,thanks to your company upgrade.

Night and day difference between the flimsy factory take down pin and M-Carbo's very good strong take down pin, great setup now.
I prefer this to the OEM version, as it seems sturdier and more secure. No issues inserting or removing the pin, I liked it so much, I ordered the LCP Max takedown pin as well.
This take-down pin is so much better than the OEM part it's difficult to compare the two. Move beefy and with the slide release spring change, a positive lock. (yes, you have to change the slide release spring for the new pin to lock in place.

Heavy duty takedown pin kit was super easy to install with the guidance from the detailed video. It’s a superior product and makes so much sense.
Ordered the take down pin for my LCP 2. Great concept quality product. Unfortunately while at the range the pin turned and backed out causing a malfunction in the slide. Pin turned and was no longer holding the spring. That is the reason for the rating. Customer service was incredible!! Contacted MCarbo about the issue. They quickly responded sent me a return label and refunded the purchase price. Would definitely continue to do business with this company
