Works and fits very well... Obvious just by looking and feeling it that it was very well made. I'm very glad I put it on my LCP 2.
Was suprising how easy it was to change out and with the video up posted made it easier thank you alot will be doing more business with you
Big quality improvement over factory and easy install.. Very happy with my purchase..
This pin will walk out even though it says it won’t. I had to install the factory pin to keep from loosing it.
Pin works great for the LCP 2 and fast shipping it’s a must have
The top of the spring that holds the pin in place seemed to have to much of a bend in it comparing it with the picture of it. Try as I might I could not get the pin past the spring until I straightened out the bend but still had good purchase once I got the pin past it. Other than that I like the new pin.
Super easy to install. I really like how it locks in with just a half turn. I would strongly recommend for anyone with a LCP or LCP2.
Another dependable part for my LCP 2-22lr !
Installed the new M CARBO take down pin and spring in my LCP ll, was not to difficult to install you just have to make sure you have sear in right position for assembly. Now it is a breeze to remove pin Just turn pin 180 degrees and it will pull out very easy.
The mcarbo lcp2 takedown pin is much improved and beefier than the stock pin. I don’t worry about breaking this one like I did every time I removed the stock pin.
Although, I haven't fired my LCPII, 22LR since I installed the takedown pin, but it's made of quality material and fits snuggly.
When I watched the YouTube video of this gentleman installing this pin I was excited to get it in the mail. When it arrived it was not like the one in the video. The pin that he showed had a flathead slot in it so that when you put it in you turn it clockwise to lock the pin in place. But other than that it did fit like a dream
What a great upgrade from the factory pin. Easy to install thanks for the step by step video. However, kept the factory spring in as the carbon steel pin did not go in well and wouldn't allow for the takedown pin to be installed back.
Definitely a great addition to a primary carry weapon. I have a friend who sheared his factory pin while shooting so that made me look for other options. Install was a little tricky but, the instruction video was fantastic. The reason that the part has a slotted head is so you can rotate it and allow the spring end to fit into the slot on the pin. You have to rotate it to get the pin out. There is no way that this pin will "walk" out if the spring is in the slot.
The part I received is different than the one shown in the video below. I wont be installing this because I don't have the tools. And spending another $30.00 for punch set and gun block is more than I want to spend right now. Also it will be costly to go to a gunsmith, as the wait for them is like 6 weeks because of current demand. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xa0fESfJ9SU
