The butt pad works well. The only reason I gave it four stars is it should of had a template. I got the holes slightly off, bit I made it work. Thanks Paul
Spent a little time before I drilled. I think we could make this easier by supplying a template. I made a quick one from the part to a piece of paper. Holes lined up perfectly. fits my shoulder and I like the extra length it provides.
It took a little time getting all the holes just right, but a very solid stock addition that is a must.
I received mine yesterday and installed it with no issue. Night and day comfort at my shoulder. Plus I noticed being a little further back, I was able to acquire my peep sight/front sight better. Kudos! Also figured out an easy way to locate the drill spots: I placed new pad in place, and using chalk line chalk dusted all four holes and you have the exact spot and diameter on where to drill. Worked like a champ!
Like others have said, the install is simple. Watch video. Be VERY careful if you don't want to get some drill marks on the interior of the butt stock. BUT, the best part is the feel when it sits right in the shoulder. As soon as I brought the S2K up to check my work, I had a "Oh, hell yeah." moment.

Love this butt pad. Sure makes the gun nicer and love the additional length. Only complaint, no Allen wrench included, and the size needed was different than the wrench’s that came with my other parts from them. Every part I have purchased from Mcarbo is high quality, and the videos make installation a breeze. Highly recommend.
after installing this I can definitely feel a difference in reach and it's a lot more comfortable! Installation was a breeze!

Fast ship. Ordered it on Monday and received it Wednesday and was on my gun 30 minutes after receiving.
Alignment was a little funny. I used 2 small spring clamps to resolve that issue. Should have used a drill stop (minor nicking when bit broke through), but all in all, a comfortable shoulder contact.
This was the first item I wanted and it's great. You get a little extension and a better feel.
Put my buttstock on and it looks great. Can't wait to shoot it. I used the same technique as another M Carbo Brother and put coloring on a 1/4 drill bit, then centered in each hole.

Easy installation after watching the video and taking time to not make any unwanted marks with the drill. The fit is clean and secure, can't wait to take the weapon to the range and see just how much felt recoil is reduced.
