Really like the extra length of Pull and non-slip nature of the butt pad. Installation went just as the video showed. be aware that this works only with the maximum length of pull adjustment on the stock.
This was a good addition (although I carelessly buggered up the stock a little when drilling). The added length is nice and it looks great against the dark earth stock. This pretty much a required upgrade for any Sub 2000.
Im a taller Gentleman and this seriously helped as far as reach goes. The issue i had was with installation. If you drill the holes properly the top 2 nuts will not fit properly without slight modification. If done right, is no big deal. But i could see people easily messing up their buttstocks.
This is just what I was looking for. The buttstock only has a limited extension range and I still found that I was hunched over gun too much. This buttpad added just the right amount of extension and is securely screwed onto the buttstock so it won't come loose. Just be careful when drilling the holes not to scar up the plastic stock. I put masking tape near the drill sights so I wouldn't nick the stock. The installation went as described in the video. The videos are great as I do best when I can see how the parts are supposed to fit. The description of the installation are very detailed also. Great high quality part.
Received the butt stock pad today. As always, fast shipping and the product was packaged neatly. I was kind of skeptical drilling into a nice gun, but if you take your time, the end result is excellent. Highly recommend for the comfort, but also if your like me and want a little longer length of gun overall. Great piece

I had the “other style” pad that slips on. It worked great, but I tore two of them in a short time. This pad is much better. I used two woodworking clamps to hold the pad to the stock to drill the holes. It is perfectly lined up and straight. Just like the M Carbo installation video I scratched the butt stick with the drill bit. The pad is not very soft, but feels good. The length of pull is correct, and it is a bomber installation. I highly recommend this product.
This was a easy installation following the video on the website. Buttstock Pad has reduced a lot of the recoil.

Was a little difficult to install. I did notice in one of your presentations, that the butt stock sustained scarring from the drill bit. I avoided that by compressing the stock and butt pad in a vice with padded jaws and I marked the drill points with a roll pin punch which has a dimple in the middle to keep from slipping off the roll pin. I used the exact diameter punch to keep my drill mark centered.
The buttstock pad worked out great, took it to the range today and noticed the recoil wasn't a "slap" anymore, definitely an improvement. Installation went ok, I took my time and used a vice (with plastic jaw inserts) to hold buttstock while I lined things up and marked where to drill.
Easy to install
My installation experience: I removed the butt stock and lined up the stock and the pad in a vise with soft jaws. Used a transfer punch to mark the drill positions. Started with a smaller drill for a pilot hole, then drilled to size. If you're using a combination wrench make sure you've got the proper size. The nut is an 11/32, not a popular size, but the installation is a 10 to 15 minute job if you have the proper tools. Make sure your original drill is sharp or it will walk on you with the plastic.
