Hi, So the install took me about 30-40 minutes to complete it helped to use my drill press to make sure that the stock didn't move and I got the holes lined up perfectly. Once drilled out I then install the buttpad and it looks like it is supposed to be there it is great. The product is made of high quality material and it is much more comfortable then the plastic stock.
Works great and fits exactly on my .40 cal Kel Tec. I had to modify mine a little due to the barrel sight that kept the gun from collapsing all the way. It is on now and works fine. The direct blow back was tough with that manufacture’s stock butt being pointed, not flat. But this butt pad fixed that issue. Glad I bought it. And I had a couple of questions and got quick support too! Glad I found this part here and appreciate all the help!! Thank you!

Excellent accessory for Sub 2000. Easy to install and eliminates any discomfort from recoil.
Real nice makes gun fit better I'm a big guy it helps alot template would make easy but I clamp mine together just take your time drilling

Great customer service, great how to videos, fast shipping, easy install. One small criticism...even though the surface area is better, I'd doesn't seem to have much padding. Only basic skills, drill and proper drill bits needed. 5 stars for just a modicum more padding.
This item is an excellent addition to the Sub2000. The installation for this buttstock was straightforward and easy to install. My only negative comment is that the buttstock is not as soft as I thought to could be. That being said, it is way better than the original hard stock and the aftermarket soft rubber stock pad that disintegrated after about a year.
This was so easy to install. Watch the video. I have rubber jaw inserts for my vice. Just clamped it in the vice made 4 dimples, pulled it out of the vice, drilled the four holes and it popped right. Easy peasy.
This pad greatly improves recoil. Easy to install and highly recommend!!!
I purchased the butt pad and the recoil buffer. I have not tested but it looks and feels good. The install was not as easy. Held the pad to the stock and marked them with point drilled per the instructions but it was difficult to get lined up. Took some working and got it installed. Pad is secure. Recommend to use a vice to hold pad and butt together and drill pilot holes directly.
The pad is a great addition to the sub. It gives more meat into the shoulder. Install was easy after the video hints
Now this is a nice improvement even though, I had to modify mine a little to fit correctly. Cause, I run my sub 2000 in the shortiest confirgation.
Great design and easy to install as long as you have the right tools. Using a vice to hold it in place to drill the holes. Overall, great product. You guys nailed it!
Okay, so I finally drank the koolaide and bought a Kel Tec Sub2000. Always hated how it shouldered and sight picture was horrid. Bought a few other Mcarbo parts for other weapons and thought, why not? Bought several upgrades for this one and I have to say, it's made this weapon so much better! The butt pad really improved my sighting and was relatively easy to install. Well worth the little bit of work and a great addition!
