This butt stock greatly improves the shooting enjoyment of the Keltec Sub 2000. I had my right shoulder totally rebuilt prior to my retirement after 28 years in the USMC. Got the Sub 2000 and enjoyed shooting it, but the recoil was brutal. Found this butt stock pad and installed it and WOW!! Recoil was reduced by a good 60%. I also like the longer pull and extra inch of reach. Great product and installation was a cinch.
I didn't like the idea of drilling into my Sub2K, but figured it was a part that was easily replaceable. I actually did the job in about 20 minutes from start to finish while on a video chat with my son. It definitely makes shooting the Sub2K a lot more enjoyable and, if you're like me (6'5"), it makes for a nicer reach. When installing the buttpad, use some tape to secure it in place while drilling. Even so, my slipped just slightly. It's not terribly noticeable. I wish it matched up better with the pattern of the OEM stock.

Love this matched with the recoil bushing it’s like the recoil of 22 now... Vast improvement over the flimsy rubber slip on pads. Not only does it work well for it's intended purpose, but it also provides the perfect length of pull in conjunction with a fully extended buttstock, for taller shooters.
Great accessory to have. Feels natural in shoulder pocket.
you wouldnt expect this thin pad to improve the felt recoil but its a huge improvement over the stock plastic punisher part. this should be the first item on everyones list.
Include drilling template. Include bit for screws. Use standard nut. For $35+ it should have been an easier install to allow gun to fold still. Will NOT fold with this product.
Recently purchased the new Butt Stock Pad. It looked like a good idea on-line, so I ordered it too in my order. Installation was straight forward if you are reasonably handy in the workshop. My install took about 45 minutes with video view time, fitting, drillling, and assembly. The re-installation of the Butt Stock on the rear tube was challenging only to the point of getting pin aligned and back through the holes. Chris made it look too easy for my first time. But, did make it work, after I got the drift of how it went together. As they say, "second times a charm!"

I used a small vise to hold the buttstock for drilling. Recommend using drill bit to mark holes. Drilling didn't take long for both pilot holes and installation holes. Final installation was easy. Huge improvement to length of pull. Sub2k fits better now. Still fits in storage bag. Disassembly for cleaning is not a problem. Watch the installation video. Take your time. Use a vise.
Ordered and installed the new Buttstock pad. After placing the other I had the Pad within a few days impressed with how fast it came. Fitment is awesome, just take your time drilling the holes for good alignment.
I received and installed the new SUB butt stock pad yesterday. Terrific addition to the piece. You make it look so difficult in the video. Quick, easy, and perfect fit using a vise. Cannot see how to improve - well thought out. The added LOP is a real plus for me. Every MCARBO upgrade seems to make the SUB feel like a new piece. I think it has them all. Keep them coming.
