This thing is very tedious to install and not as simple as Chris makes it look in the videos. It's doable, but sheesh. Others are correct. A template would be great. Something that starts the 1/8th guide holes to get things going. It's a no return sort of project. I expected the rubber on this to be softer to absorb more recoil. Most of what this does is give a flat shouldering surface getting rid of the pointy Keltec one. This makes my ear hit the barrel release when shouldering. Hopefully I don't get my ear smacked around when shooting. It seems a clamp type mounting system would work better that could also be removed without leaving holes. Keltec sells their own butt stock extension that seems to do just that.
Buttstock pad is easy to install. Saved my shoulder pocket after putting a buck and a 1/2 down range. I would recommend using a vice. It will make your life alot easier, trust me.
Every thing I have ordered and received for my Kel Tec Sub2000 has been very satisfactory. I have a few things I want to get yet so I haven't installed some of the items, but what I have installed fit like a glove and are well made . Shipping is very fast.

If you had included a paper template to position the drill holes perfectly that would have improved my result. I'm about .050 to .063 off on the bottom of the buttstock and my over extension of the drill bit through the drill hole has nicked up my new plastic buttstock.
So before the purchase.of this amazing product i went out for a range day and came home with a black and blue shoulder... I went out yesterday and dumped 123 rounds as fast i could not one ache or bruise!. I highly recommend this inexpensive amazing product!!!!
before this one was available, I bought another one, is was nice and soft, but only lasted 2 outing. that one it made to last, very easy install
Pros: Works just as described; excellent quality. Definitely more comfortable, and seems to reduce recoil just enough. Bottom line: very pleased with the functional aspect. Con: Not real pleased with the installation process. A bit tricky to precisely line up with existing stock and mark. Hard to drill without scratching the stock permanently. Design makes buffer removal more difficult, thus making field stripping more difficult to perform. Bottom line: I think that you guys could come up with an improved design.
Very nice piece. Good price, great quality and fit. Being 6' 2" it's nice to have the extra 1/2" length it adds to the stock as well. Highly recommend.
Just installed this as an extension and it is perfect! Fairly easy install and now a quick and easy sight picture and was spot on with shipping arrived the day they said it would, I’ll be a returning customer for sure thanks Guys!
Love the pad, feels much better resting into your shoulder. What I did was flip the flat side of the pad down into the stock and used a 5/32 bit just to get my marks centered and started. Easy install and makes a world of difference! This is also a great time to change out your charging handle as well, if you have already.
I was one of the idiots that bought the ATI pad online . Not only does it rip it falls off while shooting . My dad who knows 0 about guns put the Mcarbo pad on for me and couldn’t believe the difference between the original butt stock and the upgraded mcarbo pad. Thanks again Mcarbo Brotherhood
