I installed the buffer washer & butt pad at the same time. Butt pad installation was a PAIN !! Very noticeable reduction in recoil!! As I said, I installed both at the same time. So I'm not sure how much difference the buffer washer made. But with both installed, my sub 2000 is a lot more fun to shoot!!
Just got it installed and it fits perfectly after some adjustments. A few drill scratches in the process but that's to be expected. I used a vise to keep things steady and widened the holes out till she slid in just right. Thanks MCARBO for cranking out great parts!

Super easy installation only took me one try looks great feels great very happy with this product.
If everyone is so worried about the recoil, why not include some heavy duty springs between the Butt stock and the pad. Problem solved "all" shock absorbed. And yes a half moon cutout at the top would have been great. And BTW video funny... I would never scratch the hell out of my rifle...especially not on a sales video.
The pad came quickly as always. Outstanding service. I had it installed in 15min. Wow I can't believe the difference. Feels so good. I also like the way you can set it up on a hardwood floor. Don't need to worry it will set there!! Thank you so much for all you do. Ron
It’s definitely a must. That extra 3/4” makes it more comfortable to sight and shoot
The butt stock pad works great, i like the cushion better, feels good on my reach too.
Easy to install, feels great. I did discover that as good as the installation video is that it was easier to just lay the buttstock on its side with the pad against it, then hold it steady and drill the pilot holes(1/8in) through the pad holes.
Adds length, and also adds comfort to recall of the butt stock
Follow directions and it fits perfect.
