A great improvement over the factory buttstock. Way more comfy to tuck it in. Definitely improves the shooting experience. If you have a Sub 2k this is a must have.
Made firing more comfortable also very shock absorbent.
Excellent products and support. I have purchased several products from MCarbo and I am extremely pleased with all. I very much appreciate the instructional videos making installation well supported. Keep up the great work guys and looking forward to doing continued business with you!
Purchased the M*CARBO buttstock pad for my Sub. Couldn't be more pleased!!
I needed a little more length of pull to comfortably shoot my Sub2000. The extra length provided by the MCARBO butt pad was just right. I like the fact that it attaches with screws for a solid mount. I would definitely recommend this if you need that extra inch. Plus you can't beat MCARBO's warranty
The buttstock pad is a great add on. The directions in the video were spot on. The extra inch it give you does make a difference and a flat surface does too. I took me less them 10 minuets to complete. Ok, next upgrade.........
What a difference, a great improvement, very easy to install especially with the MCARBO video
This fit great and was very easy to install. I love the additional length of pull as well.
Saw tour video on this and had to have it, install was straight forward. Looks great, only thing is you have to adjust gun to longest position, I don’t mind that.
Here are a couple of ideas that might help others with the installation: - I lined up the pad as suggested and then secured it with masking tape - to mark the spots for drilling I took the biggest drill bit that would fit in the holes, heated it up a bit and made the marks which came out very clear and made drilling with the 1/8 really easy
Gives a better, more stable platform to minimize sliding due to the flat, rubberized material that grips better on your shoulder when firing. Takes care of the pointy, middle part of the plastic butt stock that can eventually take toll on enjoying our foldable, mini rifle fired on a few boxes of plinking bliss! Own experience would rate it roughly an 8 overall a total of 10 to help mitigate & stabilize felt recoil. Highly recommend this upgrade!!!
Mcarbo has been the leader in innovation for the Sub2K for some time now. I have every mod available through Mcarbo. But this buttstock pad needs to be redesigned. I don’t want to have to drill through my factory stock and have the bolts sticking out on the other side. You could have made the bolts shorter for a more uniform appearance. Also you could have provided a paper template to place over the stock to make drilling the holes easier. The more serious issue is the cutout of the pad not mirroring the factory stock at the top. The gun only folds if you have the stock pin in the first hole farthest from the back. Try to adjust it to either of the other 2 holes and the front sight runs into the pad. With this pad you basically have a fixed stock. Missouri Tactical makes a much better pad for less than half of the price, and you don’t have to drill into your stock to install it. With the new Gen 3 2K releasing it shows that people love this carbine. Hopefully MCarbo will continue to innovate. Love you guys.
After reading some reviews, I as a bit skeptical about installing this but I looked at the sub 2000 but stock and knew I had to do something. Follow the how to video BUT drill the holes slowly and with minimal pressure so you do not mar the other side of the original buttstock. Take your time and measure measure then measure again. Nice fit and feel. If you are not sure about installing this because of the drilling .. go for it. I was one of those people but in the end .. I am glad I did. Nice addidition to my Sub.
Perfecto
The butt stock looks and feels great but it interferes with the proper folding of the Rifle Once installed you may want to add a slight cut out to the top so the front slight can slide through
Good Buttstock Pad and easy to install. Just drill 4 holes and insert 4 screws & lock nuts, easy.
