I bought a pm9 back in 2003 first generation bought this trigger kit watched installation video couple of times installed kit in about ten minutes so easy fit perfectly dry firing no more twitchy front site Oder on 8/26 received kit on 8/28 kit really did lighten DAO pull Thanks M-CARBO.
Gained an average 1lb pull reduction but being a pocket pistol just wanted it to be more crisp hopefully the range will prove it worthy....of the small scratch I got in my Cerakote. Simple install and using the correct tools from the back side of the cover it was much easier than the attempt of following the video wish I would’ve trusted myself first and avoided the paint damages
I installed the spring kit about 8 months ago in my cw45 and WOW what a wonderful difference this made. However now I am getting light primer strikes = no bang =!! I thought it was the ammo so I tried the ammo in my 1911, bang every time. I will now have to replace the factory spring. The Kahr cw45 is my every day carry gun and must be 100% reliable. RES
Have only dry fired quite extensively. Easy installation. Kahr has unusual trigger takes quite a bit of thought process out of operating pistol.huge upgrade.
I received and installed the MCARBO striker spring and guide Monday. Tuesday morning on the range for a through test. I was concerned that the trigger pull would be too light for a carry gun. This proved not to be the case. The Kahr CW9 performed perfectly with better accuracy. The pull is so smooth and the small pistol can be held steady and on target. This is indeed an outstanding upgrade for any Kahr pistol. Don’t wait buy the set today.
I bought two Kahrs within the last year, both previously owned. One is a P9 the other a CM40. As with many Kahrs, they were not completely broken in and had some feeding issues which was probably the reason they went on the market. Two trips to the range cured both of them but I was a little disappointed with the trigger pull on the CM40 (which I carry). The P9 was fine. I ordered spring kits for both. Installing them was quick and the results were great. The trigger on the 40 is like the 9 stock and the nine is reeaally nice! Great investment.
I was happy with the factory trigger. I had not even considered replacing it. I came across the YouTube video and, i changed it. I can not believe how much better it fills. Almost like a single action trigger.
So, I had just gotten the Kahe CW9 and wanted to lighten the trigger a bit, not that it was bad from the factory. From the factory my gun had a 5lb 12.3oz trigger pull. I got this kit and went to work on getting it installed. The installation video is a great help. It took me a little longer to get the extractor out than the guy in the video, but he's probably done it once or twice before. Got it all taken down and cleaned up. It went back together with no issues. Got it all lubed up and went on with the test with the new springs installed. Brought out the Lyman again and did 5 test (like I did before) to see how much it was lowered. My 5 pull average was 3lb 14.6oz. The highest was an even 4lbs and the lowest was 3lb 13.5oz. I haven't shot it yet but I'm sure I'm going to like the improvement.
I purchased and installed the MCARBO striker spring on my Kahr CW9. I was pleased at first with the trigger pull reduction. I have nothing but FTF Using reloaded ammo with CCI primers. This is my carry gun and failures are not acceptable. I have to reinstall the original. Waste of money on a gun that must function flawlessly.
Kahr PM9 is a great gun. Accurate, low felt recoil, reliable, shoots everything I feed it. Saw the trigger spring kit, read the reviews and thought "why not... I can always go back to stock if I don't like it" Installed it and WOW! Accuracy actually improved! Even more fun to shoot! Awesome video walked me through what to do step by step. Hats off to MCARBO!! Perfect transaction all the way around! Do It!
Watched the installation video, disassembled the side on my CM9 and installed the new parts. Took me 45 min, but I spent 30 min. looking for the extractor that I dropped. Finally found it under the washer. I hate when that happens. Trigger pull went from a fairly consistent 6lbs to 4.25lbs, smooth with no stacking. Like it! Have to get kit for the 380.
Got the spring kit and ss rod for my kahr cw40 and all I can say is wow it's a dramatic improvement just all the other reviews say. The hardest part is getting the rear cover off the slide but after it's off it's super easy. You could pop out the extractor and the pin before removing the rear plate and it will make it much easier just commie youtube it.
I am no gunsmith but replacing these parts was easy and the gun fires better than when it was new.
The installation video on the product page is great.....made installation super simple. My trigger pull went from 7 1/8lb to 4 1/4lb on my Timney trigger scale. Great product.
This spring kit works great is priced right and is super easy to install. Almost night and day difference in trigger pull. You can't go wrong with this product.
Safe long smooth factory pull remains, but easier to squeeze. It's worth the cost and easy to install. Remains one of the safest concealed carry guns, even after the install. No more pulling when shooting targets.
