I liked & used my Kahr CM9 as a CCW for 3 1/2 years given its concealability & 9mm striking power. Although I fired nearly 900 issue-free rounds through it, I could never get used to the long trigger pull for which Kahr's are known. M*CARBO's kit caught my attention, so I ordered one. The only negative I experienced is that the small striker blocker spring wasn't in the package. I advised M*CARBO about the missing spring & they mailed it immediately. The video provided on their site made the installation go smoothly, so I recommend you refer to it. I took the CM9 to the range a couple of days ago & knew within thirty rounds that the new springs are keepers. As advertised, while they don't reduce trigger pull distance, the reduced trigger resistance is immediately noticeable. Not only was the gun enjoyable to shoot, my accuracy was much improved, especially with the second follow-up shot. I had noted a couple of reviews wherein the reviewers had some light primer strikes after installing the kit, which concerned me. I did not encounter any problems, & all thirty of the fired cartridges showed normal strikes. The CM9 has now become a regular in my two gun CCW rotation.
Quick and easy installation with a smooth trigger pull. Really notice the difference and also helps me shoot better. The only thing I have experienced is some lite primer strikes on 3 occasions. 2 with Remington UMC 115gr. and 1 with Maxx 115gr. Other than that I shot hornady 124+p , browning 124gr. , pmc 115gr. All others did great. I shot a total of about 350 rounds. So I am satisfied to say but would like to shoot more and see if it keeps happening.

Spring kit was super easy to install. Wow what a difference in pull weight.
I have installed the spring kit on my cw45. Before the install trigger pull was 7lb 2oz, after it is 3lb 10oz, big improvement. I thought maybe it was to light and may not pop a cap , wrong , I took it to my shooting range and fired fifty rounds of mixed Winchester, Remington and others brands of ammo without a single problem. I installed a trigger kit and stainless striker guide in my new Kahr CW45. The result is a lighter, smoother trigger pull. This is my second Kahr that I have installed these same parts. The result was excellent too. The installation was easy after viewing MCARBO's video. I would absolutely recommend this upgrade.
Ive had this hand gun for 5 years, and have not been real accurate due to the 7 pound trigger pull. Found this company on a YouTube video cut my trigger pull down to 3 1/2 pounds works great, I what is this song line ship the next day and I had it the day after that, then I watch the video again and took me 10 minutes to change the spring myself. Great company to do business with
Purchased the spring kit for my pm9, After what I believe was a easy 10 minute install (I’m no gunsmith) noticed a huge improvement over stock springs, would and will recommend it to everyone who has or thinking about a pm9, to get this kit, great product great company, Thanks guys,,
Installed spring kit, easy fun install using Mcarbo’s install videos. When tested at the range I used at least 7 brands of 9mm ammo. This is my carry gun and I wanted it 100% reliable. Had 3 brands of ammo with Misfires, 2 of which I had fired with stock springs and had no problems. So I reinstalled stock springs to keep reliability as high as possible. Did make sure gun was thoroughly cleaned with no grease or oil in or on striker cavity or striker. Pull was definitely nicer but too many misfires.
It is amazing how smooth the trigger on my PM9 following the easy step by step installation on You Tube. Went to the gun range the same day after the installation. Excellent performance! 👍
This was my third purchase from MCardo and the only one I was not happy with. I started with a buttery smooth 7 pound trigger, and after installing the kit it was a gritty eleven pound trigger--what the heck. I rechecked everything and lubed everything again, but it was heavier and grittier than the original configuration. I wrote MCardo CS, but after 2 weeks I have never heard from them. I disassembled the gun again, checked, lubed, and smoothed all parts and put it back together again. The trigger pull is now 6 pounds(all readings from a Lyman digital gauge) and pretty much about the same as before the trigger job. I don't recommend this kit for the Kahr.
While I had my Kahr PM9 disassembled for installation of the Premium Stainless Steel Striker Guide, I also installed the Trigger Spring Kit. Great improvement in reducing the trigger press weight. Highly recommend this kit.

Awesome product! My PM40 trigger pull weight was 6 1/2 pounds. With the new spring kit ..... nice smooth clean break at a little over 3 1/2 pounds! BIG difference.....
Yup, tried it. Simple enough install, and trigger definitely felt better, BUT, every 3-4 shot was a light primer strike, and that's with plain ol' Win White Box. Not reliable enough to even bother running self defense hollow points. Going to go back to original springs. . Have had good luck with other MCarbo products but not this one
My pistol started with 6lbs trigger pull after instillation it was 4.5lbs.
