I purchased the striker and striker block spring sets for my P9, CM9 and CT380. After installing the 5 pull average weight was about 3 lb 11 oz, give or take an ounce or two, with each pistol.

I've tested the P9 and CT380 at the range and everything fed, fired and ejected as it should (i.e. no light strikes).

These springs make a noticeable difference in pull weight for the better. The long pull "safety feature" remains so still good for carry.

It was a little bit challenging getting it all put together but it was worth the effort. I kid you not when I tell you the spring improved the trigger pull considerably.

Thanks to M-Carbo I am truly enjoying shooting my Kahr MK40.

My pistol shot flawlessly with different types of ammo, I am extremely impressed with this item. Thank you!

Fast shipping easy to install. Reduced trigger from 6.75 lbs to 4.25 lbs. Range checked and it worked flawlessly. Good improvement over factory trigger. All the MCarbo products I've used have worked as advertised. Good job MCarbo!

I was concerned about the trigger being too sensitive, but it was perfect. It was my first time installing a trigger kit, but your you tube video made it easy. It took me 10-15 minutes. I also replaced the striker guide. Product is great! Highly recommend it! Oh, and I’m digging your logo!

Ordered this kit for a P9. While the P9 already has a nice trigger pull weight, I thought I’d try this and see if I got an improvement.

Quite pleasantly surprised (pleased) with the results. Went from just over 5lb pull to right at 4. Didn’t take but a few minutes to install (took longer to clean slide after disassembly). Really effective kit for the Kahr pistols.

Light primer strikes

At first the spring worked fine but now almost every trigger pull results in no bang. Disappointed to say the least.

Lighter trigger pull helped my accuracy.

The springs arrived quickly, easy to install and significantly decreased the trigger pull. The lighter trigger pull seeemed to really help me be more consistent and more accurate. Trigger stayed smooth just got lighter would definitely recomend.

Lighter Trigger Pull, Excellent Video, BUT...

A short review of the MCARBO Kahr spring kit, which I installed in my CW45 yesterday. Today it went to the range.

The Good-

1. This spring kit does exactly what MCARBO says is does- I don't have a trigger pull gauge so I can't give before/after numbers but it is noticeably lighter, and is less fatiguing at range sessions. Still very smooth, as Kahr DAO triggers are.

2. MCARBO's videos on slide disassembly/reassembly are excellent.

3. Their communications is good, shipping was fast, and their prices are not ridiculous.

The Bad... can be summed up in 3 words:

Light Primer Strikes

I was afraid of this, since the striker spring does appear to be a good bit lighter than the factory spring- which is good for the trigger pull, but...

40 rounds through it this afternoon- divided among:

CCI Blazer Brass 230 FMJ

Handloaded Rainier 230 FMJ, Hornady 230 XTP and 200 LSWC.

All primers were commercial American made-- CCI in the factory loads, and Rem 2 1/2 or Federal Small Pistol, depending on which brass was being used.

Of the 40, 8 would not fire. I set those rounds aside, and at the end of the range session I loaded 4 into my old Llama Max I, and the others into my Fun But Funky Hi Point 4595 carbine. All 8 went "boom" with no issues.

So... I'll be putting the stock striker spring back in when I have time to mess with it again. I like MCARBO, they seem to be stand-up guys and their product information and instructions are second to none. But I would not put these springs in a defense gun, and certainly not in a carry piece.

Well, I was a little nervous putting the new spring kit in, I was affraid I would reduce the trigger too low in poundage. I was showing about 4.75lbs. and the spring kit dropped it to about 4lbs. Since these pistols have a long pull before it breaks, I didn't know what to expect. So it's still a long pull till it breaks, just lighter. I honestly don't mind the trigger on the CW9, I'm very happy and the pistol has shot perfect, zero FTF/FTE, so I recommend this kit, I also enjoy the guys at M-Carbo, feels like family!!

Made a PM9 shoot good

For years now I have had a Kahr PM9 that I just could not learn to love because I could not shoot it as well as I thought I should. I also have a Kahr P45 that I shot well because it had a much better trigger when I bought it used. Finally I found the MCARBO trigger kit for the PM9. Reasonably priced and it worked. My PM9 had a 6.5lb trigger stock and this kit got it down to 4.5lb. Little guns are hard to shoot with a heavy trigger but now I shoot it quite well and am getting the accuracy that the gun was capable of delivering. I know Kahr triggers are supposed to be a safety factor but the pull is still long-just lighter and smoother and more "shootable" and I do not feel it is in any way unsafe. And thank you guys at MCARBO for the installation video. I could never get the striker back plate off before. Much better to remove the extractor and take that pressure off and then you can remove the backplate. I also purchased a second kit for a relative's CW9 and had the same good results. She also is shooting hers much better now.

I've had my CM9 for a few years and for the most part it stayed in the safe. I tried to bond with it but the trigger pull was too different than my other pistols. After doing some research I can across M*Carbo. For $14.95 I thought why not. Install was easier after watching the video. Only took 15 minutes or so. It does make a difference in trigger pull. Same Loooong pull but the reduced weight makes it easier. Maybe the M*Carbo team could look at a trigger shoe slip on to make the pull feel shorter. Just a thought.
