I HAD ALREADY POLISHED SEAR HAMMER TRIGGER BAR AND ALL OTHER MOVING PARTS WHICH REDUCED PULL WEIGHT FROM 5.5 TO 4.25 AND MUCH SMOOTHER.NEW KIT REDUCED PULL FROM 4.25 TO 3.5 WHICH IS BETTER BUT NOT 2.5 LBS.THAT IS THE ONLY REASON THAT I DID NOT GIVE 5 STARS.VIDEO ON INSTALL WAS PERFECT AND VERY USEFULL.

Seriously just buy it.

There was something that felt off with my 92 trigger. After using this kit, and the Wilson combat short reach trigger, the gun feels perfect.

Trigger is now amazing. It'll be the best $30 you'll spend on your gun.

Just do it

After watching the install video (nice job, as usual Chris) I finished installing this kit, the stainless steel guide rod and the factory "G" kit. In under an hour. Much smoother, very nice feel and a clean crisp trigger break. Pull was reduced in both DA & SA. Another outstanding kit from M Carbo!

Keeps me coming back

I have used these kits to upgrade customers guns at my shop. I was so impressed with the results I purchased a Girsan Regard to try it out. This works with the Regards and Berettas perfectly. This kit will get your sidearm squared away, because only a POG would be happy with a factory trigger.

Like a whole new firearm

M*Carbo Beretta Trigger Kit - Model 96A1

Review

I installed the trigger kit in my Beretta 96A1 last night. Using the video as a guide I got the replacement springs and a bit of polishing on the hammer & sear completed. The installation of the sear spring proved to be a bit challenging but after several attempts completed the task. The trigger pull weight came down to a much more managable just under 3 lbs which should help a great deal. I chose the 12 lb trigger spring which seemed about as stiff as the one I removed . . . but the objective was achieved.

I did have some challenges getting the pins out of my 96A1 for the safety ( I actually broke one of my good roll pin punches ) so I decided to leave the slide changes alone for the time being.

I did order the SS guide rod as well and along with the spring supplied as part of the trigger upgrade replaced the "captive guide rod & spring" that came with my 96A1. It seems to cycle properly . . . at least when operating the slide manually. We will have to see how well it works under live fire operation. "If" it does not work well I will update this review and let everyone know the results.

Good kit . . . fairly easy to install except for that sear spring. One needs four very tiny hands to hold the frame, keeping the spring in place, while the third hand compressed the spring, and the forth to push the pin through. I must have spent a good 45 minutes and as many attempts, but finally managed to get it installed.

I use factory 165 & 180 grain ammo in this firearm so will see how everything works in an upcoming range session.

At first, I could not complete the install from my first order due to a part/shipment error—this was swiftly resolved by the excellent customer service of the M-Carbo Team. I received to new piece, completed the install, and wow.. The pull is definitely lighter, and smoother thanks to the polishing portion of the instructional video. I was so impressed with the results, I convinced two others From my unit to purchase the same kit. Taking her to the range today to see how she functions/shoots.

I used the really well detailed video on disassembly and installation. It was easy to follow the instructions. The video was very well done. I did the install and was anxious to go do a range test.

All was good. A very good upgrade and very easy to do. I will most likely buy one for my 92FS after I get a bunch of range time on the upgraded M9.

I purchased the Beretta trigger kit for my M9A3 and installed the kit myself. Unlike a Glock the Beretta takes a little more time and experience, but not impossible even for a beginner. The results are amazing. I just thought I loved the trigger pull on a Beretta. Wait until you install this kit.

Made a major difference

The original stock spring in my M9 was OK in single action, but unbearable in double action. It was beyond 10 pounds(my trigger scale only goes to 10 lbs.) and gritty. By installing the spring kit and with only minor polishing, the double dropped to a smooth 8 pounds and the single was at 3. Highly recommended.

Meh...

My pistol shot great before I put in these new springs and it shoots great after as well. I guess after reading some of these reviews, I was expecting some earth-shattering experience. It didn't really happen. I didn't bother testing my trigger pull weights before and after. While dry firing I can tell a difference, but I don't think the slightly lighter trigger pull offers a lot of practical help on the range. I suppose I'm glad I did the work, I just don't think it makes that much real difference.

Much better trigger

Finished install today on a Girsan Regard MC. Trigger is now much better, both single and double. love that but harder to rack. I'll run it a while, see if it loosens up. May have to go back to the original recoil spring to see which I like better. The video is sooo helpful, made the install possible for me to do. Did the polishing, very good to do. Also put in springs and polishing on my M&P. Very happy with that.

My new Beretta 92A1 + mcarbo and Langdon Tactical - amazing

Review

Installed and polished following the excellent video process. While doing that I added in a Langdon Tactical trigger bar. I ended up with a 92 that shoots like a 2011. My DA pull is still 1/2" long, but a smooth 5.7lb pull. The SA pull is around 1.5lbs. With the new trigger bar my reset is around 1/16",,short just like a 1911/2011. FYI the 92A1 uses a captured RSA, so don't need the recoil spring. Great job Chris and the rest of the Mcarbo team.
