I wanted to upgrade my Taurus PT92 AF-D and read these parts were compatible, so I tried them, this kit took my DA trigger pull from a 11lbs down to 9lbs and the SA from 6.5lbs to 4.5. The kit is also easy to install if you're doing it for a Beretta 92, still easy for the Taurus, just had to do a little bit more research.

The Girsan Regard MC install went well, thanks to Chris' how-to video. Took me a little longer than expected, but it was the first time I had complete taken this gun apart. The only difference in the disassembly between the 92A1 and the Regard MC was in the lock-back bolt, but it was easy to figure out. All the springs fit just fine. I took the pistol to the range, and what a difference!! I loved this pistol anyway, but love it even more after the M*Carbo spring-kit install. Thanks M*Carbo!

Wow... What a big difference this kit makes. I first ran into the You Tube video by mistake (glad I did), it was done up so great that I decided to make the purchase, also purchased the stainless guide rod to replace the plastic one. The installation video was spot on including the section of the safety D tent spring. I used the rag method to capture that little dude. I don't own a trigger scale, but I can feel the difference for sure. Super happy with the purchase. Keep up the good work.

Everything was as advertised. Parts were good quality and installation video was great. Installed without issue. Went to the range after and the trigger breaks and recoil were much improved. Definitely worth the upgrade.

Installed the trigger kit as well as the stainless steel guide rod. The improvement was tremendously wonderful. The trigger is so smooth and light now it's more accurate than I thought it could be. The recoil and performance is outstanding. I'm shooting about a 4" group at 20 yards now. For me that is awesome. Watching the video and following along makes it a snap. Thank you so much!

Installed all the parts in Beretta 90-TWO. The safety was a little different, but all went well. The video was perfect. Trigger pull went from 10.19lbs to 6.9-7.1 DA. SA it went from 7lbs to 5 lbs. Smooth as silk! Thanks guys!

Whoa - I couldn't be happier with this kit. From ordering, delivery, and DIY installation everything went as smooth as can be. Final results = lighter trigger and recoil. And drastically improved accuracy at the range. The company's install video is top notch and made the modifications relatively easy to do myself; albeit, I did have a tad trouble with the sear spring. All in all, finished the job in a couple hours and was at the range testing performance that afternoon. Tighter groupings all around and consistently hitting bullseye from 5 and 7 yards out.

First may I say Chris did a great video for the installation of this firearm, the slide on a 92FS is a bit of a challenge and not for the faint of heart, however my review is for the kit installation on the Taurus PT92 AFS-D which in my opinion is a great gun and I actually prefer it to the Beretta from which it was patterned after, Anyway the install is much easier but somewhat different from the video as the safety is in the frame VS the slide, however all the major parts are the same. Anyway prior to the install of this kit the following specs were observed.

Trigger pull in DA was 7lbs. 12.5 ounces

SA pull was 5lbs. 9.6 ounces.

After polishing and installing the Pro Trigger Kit the measured result is

DA =5lbs. 0 ozs 3 pull average with Lyman Digital Trigger Scale

SA= 3lbs. 10.7 ounces much smoother and crystal break. Not a great reduction but significant and better break with smoother movement. I believe it is well worth the price and time to make this good pistol into a great pistol. It is now a lot more pleasureable to shoot.

I installed this on to a Girsan Regard. The kit works great and easy to install with the video that is on YouTube. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably price upgrade for their Beretta 92 or variant.

Amazingly simple upgrade. Well worth the money. I took my grandmother out shooting, and she complained about the double action on this pistol pre-upgrade. After the install, the Beretta became her favorite pistol to shoot. Video guide is excellent

Comments:

This procedure is rather involved and very interesting and satisfying to complete. so much so, i have ordered another two kits for my remaining Berettas.

I am extremely pleased with the kits results and highly recommend it.

The related video was fantastic. It set the sequence perfectly. Install took 1 hr. with little difficulty. Thinned the profile with Lokgrips and installed the kit, in short order. Amazing return on my investment ($29). After using 1000 grit/oil to smooth out the trigger and sear, My new Beretta 92A1 DROPPED 46% OFF THE TRIGGER PULL!!! DOUBLE ACTION SMOOTH AS silk, surprised me when it broke over, WOW! Great product and quality. A1 has a captive spring, I will obtain a fluted steel rod and install the recoil spring later. Pattern went from all over(7"), to 2.5 " at 25 yards, 1st magazine. Excellent results. Thank You, Mark

I bought this kit to replace the one's in my 92A1. I used the video to see how it was done. It's pretty straightforward but it did take me about 2 hours to install. The only problem I encountered was the getting the sear spring and the safety to go back in. But I figured it out eventually. I have another 92FS INOX "Gray Ghost" and I ordered another kit for it. I really like the trigger pull now. BTW on the 92A1 I went ahead and changed out the plastic guide rod with one from MCARBO. I also replaced the hammer with a Skeleton type, and added a Short Reach trigger from Beretta.
