Review
Thanks to M.Carbo's videos, the install of the spring kit (Also ordered the SS Guide Rod) was less intimidating went very well, I have previously owned 3 other Beretta 92s, and for some reason I simply could not group well with this one. After installing the springs and guide rod and polishing the sear per their video, it is shooting way better than I expected. Definitely a great and not too expensive way to improve your Beretta 92
I installed the Pro Trigger Kit with the LTT enhanced trigger bar in my Beretta 92. Along with polishing the internals, this made a good handgun into an exceptional one. The DA pull is like butter, and the SA is 1911 smooth. The new LTT trigger bar gives me a ridiculous reset. This may be my favorite handgun, for now.
Fantastic parts with both fit and finish, pricing unmatched for high quality parts... Instructional video was extremely helpful for the complete teardown and assembly... I'm ordering kits for other pistols as well because of the quality and integrity of this company. Highly suggesting to friends and family as well... Thanks again guys!!!!!
Purchased this kit because I wanted to make upgrades to the trigger on my police surplus 92 FS produced in the early 90s, while still being IDPA Production legal. IDPA production rules does not allow parts changes to external parts on the guns, so changing the hammer geometry for a shorter SA is out. This spring kit at its price is pretty much a no brainer. swapped out the old recoil spring that probably has never been replaced, and gave the slide a good cleaning when I tore it down. reliability doesnt seem to be effected and the SA trigger pull seems a little more defined and probably dropped a pound or so, and the DA trigger pull is day and night different. Installation on this old gun would probably have been better with some longer necked and higher quality punches, as well as some penetrating oil, as I ended up breaking off a roll pin trying to extract the safety, otherwise a quick 30 minute job. I used the 13# hammer spring to drive the gun as I didnt see a reason to go down to 12# and risk reliability with harder primers.
DA went from 11.2 to 6.14 lbs. SA is now 2.8 lbs. Installation was super easy with the video but make sure you're in a room with a clean light colored floor. Your detents are going to fly at least a couple times during re-assembly. Such a bargain as compared to other kits being sold in a bag for $130.
DA dropped 4 lbs to a nice easy 6lbs 11oz. SA (didn't check prior) is 2lbs 12oz. Install video was essential. One of the best I've encountered. Love my 96A1 now.
Kit reduced the single action pull 1.3 lbs and the double action a full 4 lbs. Easy to install.
If you own the Beretta 92 you need this. As we all know The trigger pull on the Beretta is freaking ridiculously heavy and that is it's only drawback. With this upgrade it makes the 92 a completely different animal with a much more friendly trigger. The only thing I did not like about this kit was a lack of directions, I was able to find different videos on YouTube to switch out the various springs, but I had to do some searching. But overall this upgrade will transform your old Beretta into your new favorite shooter. Thanks
Producto de una calidad excelente y el envio muy muy rapido. Estoy muy contento. Haré mas pedidos. Muchisimas gracias.
Cannot say enough good things about M*CARBO and this trigger kit. Instructions and video were great. Product was great. Shipping great. I feel like a part of the team. I will definitely buy again from M*CARBO.
Totally changes the feel of the gun for the better. excellent product and you can not find better instructions never disassembled a gun before and the step by step video made it easy and the results are excellent the trigger pull is so much lighter it feels perfect.
I previously owned a Langdon Tactical 92G, which had the smoothest DA/SA feel of any DA gun I've owned or used, and that's saying something. I sold that gun (didn’t want to have that much cheddar tied up in a 92 series pistol), and when I recently acquired a 2022 date Italian 92FS, it was decision time... go with LT's trigger job in a bag, or MCarbo's package. I obviously chose Mcarbo, mainly due to its way lower price, but also because I've installed many Mcarbo spring sets, and had confidence in the results (as well as the typically good install videos). In addition to the Mcarbo spring kit, I also added another MCarbo polishing kit (my first was almost used up), as well as Beretta's very reasonably-priced skeletonized hammer, and the result was impressive. Stock, my 92FS registered a 10.2-pound DA pull, and 4.2 SA pull. After, DA is now a super smooth 6.2 pound pull, and SA is a very impressively crisp 2.2 pound pull. I'd still say the LT 92G had a bit better trigger feel, but at 1/3 the cost, I'm definitely not complaining! Install was one of the easier jobs I've done, although my specific pistol had a different style pin holding in the hammer spring (a roll pin), and the I wish there was better instruction as to orientation of the seer when reinstalling. All-in-all, another successful job and continued happy customer.
This is the first time I ever left a review for anything or anyone. The results were as advertised on your youtube video. Easy to follow and 100% results. Trigger pull for both single and double action has improved, which improved my accuracy!!! Awesome product!
I started with a SA pull of about 5 lbs and a slightly gritty feel before the break. I found the youtube video and it seemed to be the solution. I purchased the Mcarbo spring kit and the stainless steel guide rod. I also acquired a Beretta skeletonized hammer and Wilson Combat short reach trigger (smaller fingers) to complete my upgrade. Following the video was straight forward except on the slide detent springs. Instead of a towel I tried putting the slide in a clear plastic bag so I can see what I'm doing and to capture them when they flew. It worked most of the time. Saves a lot of searching time and you can see what is going on. Anyway the key part of the video was the polishing of the sear and hammer which I think really clean up the feel of the trigger. After reassembly the SA trigger pull was about 4 lb and DA at 7 lb. The feel of the trigger was very clean and very crisp break. A very nice kit and excellent step by step video. Very easy to follow.
Made my trigger feel as light as air. The Beretta 92fs trigger is heavy from factory but with this trigger spring kit the pull is not only light but also as smooth as butter! Highly recommend it and with the install video, it was as easy to install as my new trigger is to pull!!
I installed this spring kit on a Gersan Regard. The outcome was as promised. Noticeably lighter trigger pull, I glad I went through the process. The MCarbo installation video was easy to follow, I would not have attempted it without that video.
