Review
Handled well by MCARBO, and thankful for the installation video provided online. I noticed some improvement in feel, but the biggest thing I noticed was consistency when shooting.
This spring kit replaced my 20+ year old originals and gave my Marlin 700 new life. The action feels positive and the trigger crisp and strong. Everything fit exactly, the instructions video is detailed. The one tweek of one spring worked just as the directions indicted. I'd buy it again.
Great product. Improvement is very noticeable. Video of installation was so helpful.
The part came fast and fit perfectly. Great place to get parts.
I just got done installing this kit along with a DIP triggerguard and trigger kit. This kit feels real nice in the rifle, the trigger pull is much better now. They even include an extra sear spring in case you screw the first one up. Everything seems like nice quality and I expect it will run great in my souped-up Marlin!
I installed the springs and they worked out great! I don't have a trigger pull gauge, but I can feel that the trigger pull weight was reduced significantly. The factory trigger systems in the 795 suck. Your springs plus some polishing made this $115 gun bearable. I tried it today and no malfunctions of any kind. Thanks, JJ
This spring kit is well worth the money. I installed this kit along with a DIP wide trigger and trigger guard into a Marlin 7000 (the heavy target barrel cousin of the Marlin 795). The DIP parts took care of the creep and grittiness but it was the Mcarbo spring kit that reduced the pull weight. How do I know this? Well, because I also put a DIP trigger and guard on my Marlin 70PSS Papoose and the result was a smooth, crisp and HEAVY trigger. The difference - no Mcarbo spring kit in the Papoose. For those who have already torn into the action of their Marlin semi-autos (replacing a buffer etc.) this kit is a straight forward installation. And Mcarbo has a pretty good video of the procedures on Youtube. All in all a best buy for anyone owning a Marlin semi-auto rifle who wants a better trigger pull.
Received this very fast and installed on my '74 Glenfield model 60. Lowered the trigger pull by 3lbs. I would recommend to anyone. Just watch the video if your not an experienced gunsmith.
The trigger and spring set arrived quickly and the installation videos were clear and helpful. I got them both installed in my 795 in less than 1/2 a hour, and the pull weight is now averaging 4 lbs. give or take a few ounces either way. Very happy with the result, the products, and your company's service. Thanks!
This kit really makes a difference. I don't have a trigger scale, but it feels much better than stock. Easy to install. The instructions were clear.
Improved trigger pull to 4.24 pounds. Ideally, I would have liked 3 to 31/2 but am satisfied. Thought the kit a bit over priced, but worth the improvement. This is my second kit and the only problem I've had is difficulty with getting one of the springs bent correctly. Suggestion: Have a deal to buy 2 spring kits and get one free.
I must have done something wrong, After installation I can cycle the bolt to load round and it cocks the hammer. Pull trigger she fires cycles bolt and ejected spent case (trigger felt great by the way),bolt won't cock on cycling. What might have I done wrong.
Nice product. Easy to install with the video. Trigger is down to 4 lbs.
Sorry I have not been in touch, the kit arrived over a week ago. The difference is excellent and the gun is a pleasure to shoot now. The concentration that was required to shoot it before hand due to the weight of the trigger pull was ridiculous. Now you can just relax and enjoy. It's actually a Marlin Papoose the take down rifle that your kit has been applied to. Had to replace the plastic buffer that the bolt slides back against at the same time as it had disintegrated but marlin assured me the new part is made from a modified material.
I found this kit to be excellent. Installation was simple using the straight to the point install video. I had zero problems installing it and appreciated that the instructions were not long and drawn out. The extra spring in the kit is an excellent idea for anyone that has a problem bending it. Very thoughtful indeed, for both the consumer and MCarbo. I'm not sure exactly how much it reduced trigger pull but it is very noticeable. I highly recommend this modification and believe it is priced bang on for what you get.

I installed this spring kit in the Marlin 795 two days before an Appleseed Shoot for my grandson who just turned 11 years old. There were 24 shooters at the match. He shot his gualifying round for his Rifleman patch at a score of 210. To show it wasn't just luck, he shot another round at 215. Not bad for 11 years old. Only 4 other shooters shot a qualifying round in two days.
