I put the MCARBO kit on two of my P11’s and it’s UNBELIEVABLE! It’s like a totally different pistol! From 9 pounds to 5 or 4 1/2. I wish it had come from the factory like this. The upgrade is worth every single penny. Shot five 12 round mags through each of them and they worked perfectly. If you have a P11, get this spring kit, you won’t believe how much better it is.

My local gunsmith installed the new trigger spring kit, the new trigger, new stainless steel guide rod, and the new recoil springs on my Kel Tec P11. Now the gun is actually fun to shoot. Before, the stock curved trigger with a point at the end, pinched your trigger finger between the tip of the trigger and the trigger guard upon firing the pistol. The trigger pull is now between 6 and 6.5 lbs.--much better than before. Highly recommend doing all these mods to the Kel Tec P11 -- Great parts M*CARBO!

All the KelTec parts (spring kit, Flat trigger and 20 recoil springs) were delivered and installed. Made a world of difference. I have a old P-11 bought it new in 95 when they first came out. It was a bit snappy with so-so trigger. The MCARBO upgrades made a world of difference. Flat smooth trigger and better recoil. looking forward to doing the same to my new SCCY CPX-2 when the spring kit is available. Chris made the installations easy with his Youtube videos. Just got my P11 trigger spring kit and what a breeze to install and what a difference in trigger pull. First I gotta admit, I followed the install video and I still managed to goof up. When reinstalling the trigger retention pin, I cracked the plastic trigger. DOH! Hey the video makes it perfectly clear that a little carelessness will cause this to happen. Be forewarned! Where the my trigger cracked was in a spot that still allowed it to function. Fortunately, both Mcarbo and Kel-Tec have replacements available. I opted for the Kel-Tec plastic replacement and ordered a couple of spares. At $1.50 each I thought it was a good bargain and I really wasn’t ready to splurge the $29.95 plus shipping for the Mcarbo aluminum replacement. I am sure the Mcarbo aluminum trigger is far superior. Maybe next time... Anyhow, the spring kit install was a quick 20 minute job and went together as advertised. I do not own a trigger pull weight gauge but I can tell you that before installing this kit, the trigger pull on my P11 felt like pulling back on a 80 pound compound bow until release. Another way to put what it felt like was like pulling back on a slingshot...probably a good guess is that it was in the neighborhood of 9-11 pounds. After installing this kit I noticed a definite improvement. My best guess is that it feels about half of what it was, around 4-6 pounds. To say that I am spoiled by a light trigger pull is due to my Kimber Eclipse which has about a 3 pound glass rod snap. I can’t wait to get hold of a few hundred rounds of 9mm to properly break this puppy in. I will revisit this review when I do and report on my feelings about this swap. The installation on my old P-11 went well, following along 2 different M-Carbo videos. After reassembly, the trigger didn't break (no hammer release), but some email advice from Richard at M-Carbo helped and now it's great. I damaged the gun's hammer with my 1/16" punch trying to move the roll pin to change springs, but it still works. I bought a new hammer from Keltec, which came with their spring attached. When I get ambitious, I'll try moving the roll pin on the new hammer without damaging it, changing springs, and reinstalling the new hammer. Maybe M-Carbo should ship the hammer spring with a replacement hammer attached. I love the new flat trigger. I'm not sure the trigger pull is a lot less, but people have written that it needs to loosen up with use. Off to the range to put some rounds through it.
I installed the trigger spring and the hammer spring in my P11, and it seems that the pull weight was cut in half. I shot 25-30 rounds through it, and there was no problem with light strikes. Everything worked as it should. Thank you, MCarbo. You've allowed me to make the P11 what it should have been from the factory.
Installation was straight forward with the help of the M-Carbo video. Trigger pull went from 7-3/4 lbs. to 6-1/4 lbs.

Excellent product! Made a huge difference in the trigger pull of the Kel-Tec P11. It's still not a match 1911 trigger pull but it makes the gun much better for a self defense handgun. Very easy to install. (Full discloser: I'm a full time Gunsmith)
