Installed P-11 kit on P-40 and it works great. Will get another kit for my P-11.
Kit was fairly easy to install. Trigger pull is now noticeably lighter. High quality parts.
Easy to install and worked perfectly. Shot the best groups ever, due to the 'new' trigger pull. (Also installed the SS guide rod). No malfunctions with factory FMJs and my Reload FMJs. The stock trigger on this pistol was worthless! Now it's working so much better, it's going to be used again. It's been locked in a safe since about 1998. Going from unused to being fun to shoot, is well worth the $19.95 Thanks for saving my P11's life!
The kit arrived yesterday & I installed it this morning. Straightforward install, especially referencing the combined video & PDF. Shot one mag on steel reactive targets & the performance was night & day compared to the stock factory trigger setup! I carry this pistol a lot as my grab & go, ranch & town gun but until now with severe arthritis in my hands, the trigger was a concern! With the MCARBO spring kit I was nailing multiple steel targets on the first mag shooting rapid fire. I will be ordering more spring kits for other weapons. Celer, Silens, Mortalis MC
I received my order quickly and installation was fairly simple. I just followed along with the YouTube video. Everything fit extremely well. Performance was greatly improved making this a much nicer and easier to shoot pistol.
Installed the guide rod, recoil spring, spring kit and trigger. The over travel and take up took a few minutes to work out (mine was very finicky). In the end, I had to just kiss the frame by the front of the trigger to get it to both fire and reset with every pull, every time. Very minor, and the result is a much improved trigger that should make the gun much nicer to shoot. I haven't fired it in years because I hated the trigger so much. Great value for money and the video was most helpful.
Fantastic kit. After breaking in pull weight is much lighter with no light strikes. Definitely recommend.
Dropped the trigger pull by 3 lb right away
I found the P11 impossible to use for more than one Mag full of ammo with its trigger so hard to pull. I have arthritis in my hands and found my P11 just about useless. I can now easily pull the trigger even with my weak hands.
Make sure your firing pin socket set screw isn't locktite'd in place from the factory. If it is, then you will melt your rear sight and partially anneal your various springs when you heat the slide up enough to break the locktite bond. Preordering Instructions should have step #1 --- Check to see you can remove the firing pin socket set screw on your gun.
This spring kit cuts the trigger pull weight in half, and drastically improves the overall feel of the trigger draw.
There aren't many "must have" upgrades for the Kel Tec P11, but one of the big complaints about the pistol has always been its heavy trigger pull. Original trigger pull weight was 10 lbs until Kel Tec released a spring which reduced it to a "mere" 9 lbs. Ugh. Shooting was like weight-lifting for your trigger finger. "Brah, do you even lift?" "Yes. I shoot a P11." The M*CARBO spring kit took my trigger pull weight down from the stock 10.12 lbs to 5.13 lbs. When first installed, there was no change. But a M*CARBO technician assured me that there was no problem and the spring was fresh and just needed broken in. 500 dry fires (on a snap cap as Kel Tec recommends) and 200 manual slide cycles did the trick. Excellent product and I will be writing a much more comprehensive review praising the product. Two thumbs up and a solid "buy it now."
When I first purchased my P11, we (my dealer and I) could not pull the slide back to chamber the weapon. I sent it to Kel-Tec and when it returned it was the same with a note claiming it was operational...so I installed the M-CARBO trigger kit... it was like a totally new firearm, smooth, easy to cock and not very hard on the trigger! I'm very satisfied with the results from M-CARBO.

Works well in my old p11. Also installed the stainless guide rod and 20lb spring.
Great upgrade kit and installation video...a very noticable difference in pre-travel and pull weight. Installation is a breeze with the proper tools and video instruction. The hammer spring that came with the kit appeared to have legs of the same length, so I measured to see which one was longer before installation. For first timers who have never dealt with roll pins before, make sure you use the correct hammer and punches for roll pins. A small tool kit hammer or a gunsmiths nylon/brass hammer is your best friend! I've seen many a roll pin deformed trying to hammer back into position using too heavy a hammer and too hard a blow on the pin. A little penetrating oil before will also aid in removal and installation roll pins. Great product MCARBO!
