I bought the complete setup, Trigger Spring kit, Flat trigger, stainless steel guide rod and 20lb. recoil spring. I received it in four days and installed it the same day. I went from 6.1lb to 2.36lb. pull. the flat trigger came with set screws already set to my liking. I am cautious so the install took me about two and a half hours. The results are amazing. If you have a PF-9 or PF-11 I recommend this full treatment you will not disappointed. You can't beat the prices and the quality is superb. This is where I come for performance parts. Great job MCARBO.

I bought the upgrades same day I bought the pistol. Since I’m in school for gunsmithing I wanted to do this project since I saw the 45 min video Chris put out. I’m happy to show that I have it dialed in perfectly and made a short video to share https://youtu.be/RV5b8gE0hG8

Prayer answered: I have been wishing for a solution to the trigger pinch problem associated with this pistol since I bought it. I had smoothed and polished the trigger and trigger guard as much as I felt I safely could and still had a distractingly uncomfortable weapon. Now I don't think about how to locate my finger to press a shot off without pinch or discomfort which decreases time and increases accuracy of shooting. What I have now is an easy to access and comfortable to use concealed carry self protection tool.

Installation of the new trigger and guide rod was easy with the tutorial available here.

I replaced trigger and trigger springs, guide rod and spring: the whole package.

Superb upgrade

When paired to both the reduced power spring kit, and the enhanced recoil spring set and stainless steel guide rod, this trigger makes the PF9 feel almost on par with trigger pull weights of a striker fired gun. The best part is the walk through videos that make home install a breeze

Already modified two of my PF9s and looking to do the same to a third.

After 11 years with this pistol, I am grateful for the new lease on life MCARBO has given it.

I recently replaced the OEM trigger for the flat trigger, the guide rod, and spring.

All great upgrades!

The insulation video makes the swap out a breeze.

Thank you MCARBO!!!!

Installed all your upgrades, wish the pre travel screw was longer, seems I couldn't adjust both to my liking, if I adjusted pre travel out, over travel did nothing, ended up putting back my Northwoods trigger for room. Everything else worked great.

Installed the mcarbo flat trigger but I couldn't get the adjustment right so I removed the screws. The trigger is still much better than the stock one. I have to replace the firing pin so waiting on that part before I can put rounds thru it. Very pleased with the new trigger. Easy install and excellent customer service response time.

What a difference this trigger makes. I also installed the spring kit, the guide rod and the recoil springs. Parts are of excellent quality and easily installed (just watch the video). The only issue I had was the take up screws on the trigger itself. No matter how far I screwed it in, I could not get the gun to reset (P11). So I removed the screws and everything worked great. What a difference. It's a new gun! I would recommend this to anyone who has a P11 and doesn't shoot it anymore because it's so hard to shoot. You will love this upgrade.

The expert gunsmith at M*Carbo installed this trigger plus their springs and guide rod. The trigger is now so smooth and light, I no longer use my scandium J frame for pocket carry...

Vast improvement!

The P-11 is a fairly rudimentary firearm which can benefit from some improvement. The most obvious area of need is the trigger profile. The curved trigger is not very ergonomic, crowding the trigger finger and pushing it into the sharp area of the trigger port. MCARBOs flat trigger alleviated this problem entirely!

Installing the trigger was not difficult, especially with the instructional video for the trigger spring replacement. This is not specific to the trigger, but it was certainly helpful. A suggestion would be to tie this process into the spring kit installation. I had no difficulty, but I am an experienced "armorer" and have done several such operations.

The quality of the trigger is first rate. Some coaching on adjustment may be found to be useful.

Overall, I am very pleased!

Installed trigger with MCARBO trigger springs, recoil spring, and aluminum guide rod (the whole she-bang)...and WOW!!!! Night and day difference between stock. Very nice REDUCED trigger pull from stock. NOW...the install is rather straight forward especially if you watch his video. I had issues with a dead trigger (it not resetting on slide back). didn't freak out...played with the pre-travel screw a bit (screwed it almost all the way in) and trigger began resetting as it should after dry fire. I left the over travel screw alone and ground down pre-travel screw a bit and reinstalled and screwed it in and tweaked it until I had clean dry fires EVERYTIME. Took it to the range and put 10 rounds down the range and the trigger went dead on me one time...released trigger squeezed and tried again rapidly and it fired. I bought the allen key with me to the range and did a full turn and continued with the session. The remaining 40 rounds...no more issues.

TLDR...if you dont care about pre-travel and over travel...take the set screws out and put them in the spare parts bag. You dont "need" them for operation. There will be a little slack before the trigger engages the hammer but you wont have worry about sporadic dead trigger issues with the set screws. ALL in all...very slick kit MCARBO.

Wasn't sure about going flat

I am one of those people who actually likes a curved trigger. However I hated the trigger slap and all of the play in the factory trigger. I haven't gotten to the range yet with my new flat trigger, but I love the fact that it has pre and over travel adjustments, and that it's sturdier and smoother than the old cast plastic trigger, and honestly feels better than I expexted it would.

Only things I would change would be that I would provide longer set screws so that you can remove most of the pre-travel and most of the over-travel rather than taking a little out of each, or favoring one side or the other. I understand that it was done because tolerances probably vary from gun to gun, and this setup is relatively idiot proof. Personally, I'm going to try to find some longer screws, and I'll file fit them if I need to, to maximize the advantages of having those adjustments available. I also wouldn't have hated to see a small hex head on those screws rather than an allan head. Making adjustments with an allan key while the trigger is in the guard is a pain, you end up resorting to "the field expedient method" and using pliers, which works, but falls into that category of not really the right tool for the job. With a hex head and tiny wrench, adjustments would be amazingly simple.
