My 1971 Glenfield 60 is very enjoyable now with a trigger that doesn't feel like 80 Grit . smooth crisp lighter recommended
I received this kit not knowing what to expect, but upon receiving it i was blown away by the quality of the product. In the package i actually received 2 hammer springs which i guess was a mix-up in the packaging. Anyway i installed the springs and the trigger pull is nice and crisp requiring minimal effort to squeeze compared to the original springs that came standard. 5 out of 5 every marlin 60 owner needs to purchase this kit.
I recently received a friends old Marlin 60 to go over and check it out, as it had been sitting in a gun case for like 25 years. I had about 25 rounds through it, but after sitting for so long with full spring pressure on everything and the bolt was sticky, I just decides to replace all the springs and in the process lighten the trigger for him (polish job to the bolt and hammer and sear etc). I loved this spring kit, came with everything I needed plus an extra spring where it might be needed. The kit was very easy to install, as the M*Carbo install video was spot on, and so very helpful. Every thing worked perfectly, except the lifter housing for the cartridges had some binding problems on the bolt, which was one of the original problems as well, so that is being dealt with now (Lil' dykem and a lot of cycling the action by hand will show the problems up) and they will be fixed too. I also used the M*Carbo adjustable trigger kit, and I love it! A few more teaks and the pull will be down to around 2.5 pounds. The gun was bought years ago for less than $50, so he still has less than a new model into it. Thank you, M*Carbo for making parts for this gun.
I installed this kit just last week and as the others it's great. Factory pull was 6 lbs 8 oz. After the kit it was 4 lbs 11 oz. That was the averaging on 3 pulls. So far I installed a kit in my Marlin 795, Mossberg 500 and now the model 60. Tomorrow I'm installing the Mini 14 kit. If you have a little mechanical skill and watch the videos you can do it.

I don't recall if I wrote you previously but I wanted to let you know how my Marlin 795 turned out. I installed you spring kit while watching the video with no problems at all. At the time I ordered your kit you didn't offer the trigger so I had purchased an aluminum trigger and trigger guard. I previously had roughly a 6 lb 10 oz trigger and after the install roughly 4 lb 10 oz. Also after adjusting the trigger set screws there is now minimum creep and overdraw. This is one sweet Marlin ! I also ordered your kit for my Mossberg 500 but I haven't had a chance to install it yet. Thanks, Doug
Just got this spring kit today. Very fast shipping and great customer service. Easy to install. Watched video while assembly and went smooth. I don't have a trigger scale but I took it outside to try out and feels like half the trigger weight and nice and crisp pull. Awesome product and would defiantly purchase again.
Ordered my parts and got them extremely fast. I then watched their video and installed the parts. Very good video and it was not hard at all and I'm no gunsmith! Very please with these guys
This kit made all the difference in the world. I actually shoot groups instead of patterns. I installed it myself after watching the video a couple of times.took me about 35 minutes. I would recommend buying the e -clips also. I had one that was sprung,and they're ready to lose. I highly recommend this spring kit. Well worth the money
well i am really impressed that i order my marlin 60 trigger spring kit monday and got it in my door thursday. that was fast shipping. besides that after replacing the spring kit the trigger pull is way much smoother. talk to chris friday he is a very good guy it was a pleasure to talk to you chris. they have really good ppl there.
Was looking for parts for an older model .22. Found them all here. And besides actually finding the parts here, and the fast shipping and easy process to purchase, their resources (videos) helped me do the work myself. Will definitely be purchasing again.
followed instruction video, installation was smooth as is the trigger with the replacement springs. do not have a trigger pull gauge but can tell it is easier to pull.
I ordered this spring kit a almost a year ago and it has held up beautifully!!!! Install can be tricky if you have never disassembled a Marlin model 60 22lr before but with the videos available here and on YouTube you can do it.. I do wish that MCarbo had just a bag of disconnector springs available because I was not skilled enough to install the 2 springs the kit came with as neatly as the guy on the video. I would absolutely recommend anyone to do business with MCarbo without hesitation!!!!
this kit was so easy and fast to install . just like the video showed . got my kit night before and the next morning put the kit in in less than an hour and was shooting at targets . thanks mcarbo
Ordered the model 60 spring kit and the 455 trigger spring. Got everything delivered within two days. Was sent out as soon as I ordered. Kits are everything they say and are a requirement to get the most out of a model 60. Ordering was easy, exactly what I ordered and received within two days. If only the resat of the world worked as good. Highly recommend.
Great kit, and the instructional video was spot on. I followed it and had no issues. Trigger pull weight was reduced by half with this spring kit. Highly recommend! I put their spring kits on everything! Haha. Only minot gripe is that I didn't realize I needed e clips. I'd pay a buck or two more if 3 were included in the kit
