This is a must for the Marlin 22 if you plan on doing an accurate plinking. The trigger pull is greatly reduced and feels just about perfect for what you would want out of a 22. The installation is easy enough if you a familiar with breaking down the rifle.
I bought this kit for my Model 99DL (predecessor to the 60). Installation was basically the same as in MCARBO's video except for the sear spring - had to put a bend in it as there is a hole in the side plate for the end of it instead of a post. Everything else was the same as detailed (very well!!) in the video. I haven't put a gauge on it, but my trigger pull was drastically reduced! This kit is well worth the money!!
Replacing these springs in my 795 was an easy task that resulted in a smooth and easy trigger pull. U-tube videos made it a snap.
I have a marlin model 60 from when I was a kid that stopped firing. Disconnect spring wore out.. it was time to get it going now that my son is getting to the age to inherit it.this kit had that spring and the bonus was it made the trigger really smooth as well. The rifle now fires again and the detailed install video made the install a breeze! Thanks for a great kit!
Was looking to improve the trigger on my Marlin 60. This kit cut trigger pull down significantly. All the parts needed were included.... highly recommended!
This is the best product I have seen yet to give you a much better trigger pull. Installation was very fast. 15 minutes form start to finish. I just put a second spring kit into my fathers marlin as an early fathers day gift and he can't be more happy with the results. Buy and install this kit and you will have a much better trigger pull hands down. Thank you M*CARBO for a great product and fast service.
Great kit with an even better install video! Mine was a bit easier than the video due to being a 1980 model without the bolt holdback.
I would've bought the full kit used in the video if it was available, but it's not. Oh well, I figured I'd try the springs with my stock trigger and see what I get. The installation instructions were easy enough to follow, but there were no new e-clips included. If they're that prone to loss/breakage and you have to remove them to include the springs, they ought to be included with the kit; or at least a bold message in the description to the effect of "We highly recommend buying new e-clips to go with this kit." Performance of the spring kit in enhancing my trigger was nothing short of a miracle. Mine is a mid-80's model 60 and has always had a horrible trigger. The crispness and lightness of the trigger post-install made me question whether something was improperly installed because it was so light. I thought "I must've not engaged a spring or something." Then I put a couple rounds through the gun and it functions 100%, just now with an AMAZING trigger. Many thanks M-CARBO!
The stock Marlin Model 60 trigger is pretty creepy and heavy so I took to the internet in search of a way to lighten and crisp it up. All routes led me here and I'm glad it did. The videos on YouTube made it pretty easy to put in and the finished product was a crisp 4.5lbs. I definitely recommend it.
This spring kit did exactly what it said it would. After installation it brought the trigger down to 3.5 pounds on my first generation Marlin Model 60. The photo included is 17 shots from 25 yards from a Caldwell Tack Driver rest. I am highly impressed.
Product works great. The only issue I have is that I don't have a lot of experience breaking down a gun that far. The video went a little fast for me to follow and some of the video seemed to be fast forwarded. Due to this I had to guess and try to figure out on my own how one of the springs went on. I'm sure for a more experienced person it would have been very simple. Overall once I got it all back together with the new springs, the trigger pull is much better. Product gets 5 stars, installation video gets 3 stars.

I used this kit for my Marlin Model 60 and it took nearly 2 pounds of the trigger pull. It feels much better now and I am very satisfied with this product. Overall, the MCARBO guys are very helpful and are THE BEST!
The Marlin 60 spring kit was easy to install using both the video and printed instructions provided by the website. At the range I can definitely feel the difference and my groups improved as well. I can't say enough about the AWESOME customer service. I ordered this kit on a weekend and the parts were delivered to me in Colorado by Wednesday! On the same day I got an email asking if I had received the parts and the following day got an email with links to the installation instructions. From one veteran (3/87th Inf. 10th Mtn. Div) to another, if I need some other part I will check M*Carbo first!!
