The parts kit arrived very quickly. The parts were of good quality. My problem was that I was a bit overeager to install them that I didn't pay enough attention to the installation video.....it runs more quickly than I can react. I made a smalll error and had to go back an reinstall a spring/pin that I had been cautioned to leave in place. I did have to rewatch certain parts of the video several times because the video ran too quickly and the picture quality was a bit sketchy. Other than than, everything is in place and now works very well. This kit is well worth the effort.

Initially this appeared to be a somewhat complex procedure, something I would not be comfortable performing with just written instructions. However, the video how-do was excellent. It also allows you to freeze the video, and go back if you don't quite understand a particular step. After updating the springs, my old LCP1 performs a lot better. Excellent product, I just ordered replacement springs for my SCCY2.

The spring kit removed 2 full pounds of trigger pull on the LCP--highly recommended. Terrific customer service, too. Thanks MCARBO!

I bought my Ruger LCP used, thinking it would be about like my wife's LCP II. Was I ever wrong. This thing had the most horrendous and even sometimes painful trigger pull I'd ever seen. I immediately started searching online for a solution. I ran across Mcarbo and watched their installation video. That sold me and I ordered the spring kit right away. It arrived like 3 workdays later and was easy to install after watching the video again. I don't have a trigger pull gage, but the trigger pull is less than half what it was. My groups using the laser shrank from 6-8" down to 1-2" at 7 yds and the gun is actually fun to shoot now.

Made my lcp a different pistol!

This took my LCP from something I could barely shoot to easy for me to use. The original trigger pull was so hard for me that it was nearly impossible to get accurate shots. I’m a 68 year old lady and my LCP is my CC firearm. I was looking to replace the gun because of the hard trigger pull when my husband found this kit. Our son installed it with no issues. It changed my firearm to one I can now competently shoot.

I’m very impressed with how quickly you shipped this order. We’ll be ordering more kits for our other LCP’s. Thank you very much.

Much better trigger pull, but a little gritty dso needs another cleaning.

1. Current LCP has a horizontal roll pin holding firing pin in, not vertical! Very hard to line up to replace roll pin.

2. Difficult to adjust new flat trigger setscrews after it is in frame!

3. Difficult to push sear catch forward even with the suggested micro screwdriver tool.

OTHERWISE A RELATIVELY EASY INSTALL FOR AN AMATEUR GUNSMITH WITH THE PROPER TOOLS!

Makes the LCP way more shootable

The LCP is a great gun but it's hard to control because it's so small and light. When I added the MCARBO lighter trigger springs there is less amount of pull you need so less jerking. Keeps gun on target better.

Much Better!

My accuracy has always been poor with the LCP, now I have a chance of hitting something more than a few yards away. Makes the trigger pull much more reasonable.

Much Improved!

Had 2 Ruger LCP’s (one was my wife’s) that did not want to close during chamber load; I had to nudge the first round in. Replaced the springs - mine with 13#, hers w/ 12#, fixed that problem. The old ones were supposedly 9#, but I suspect they were getting soft. Even after stretching them out a bit, the problem was not fixed. But these replacements made all the difference. Slide is very responsive on both guns, and wife is still well- able to rack the first round.

I also really appreciate what this company stands for.
