Review
Factory was 6lb. 8oz...installed new kit and it only dropped to 4lb. 14oz...was hoping to get in the 3 1/2 pound range. Video was very helpful on the install. Was thinking of trying the trigger spring kit for my Shield with the polishing kit but I am hesitant now.
Kit worked as advertised. Watched the video and it was a simple job installing it. The kit worked so well, I will have to burn up some ammo to get used to it and get the accuracy back, to used to the gargantuan trigger pull that comes with a stock LCP.
Incredible difference. It was simple to install with your video instructions and has made shooting this LCP much more accurate. Now, can you manufacture a better trigger to reduce the length of stroke/pull on the LCP. I really don't care to put something called "Sweet Pea" on my CCW.
Received my order with lightning speed. Exactly what a ordered. Well packaged. I am impressed with MCARBO. Great product from a great Business. Thanks guys, will be ordering from you again soon.
Super easy install, just watched the video. Like the results!
The installation of the trigger spring kit was a snap thanks to mcarbo you tube video instructions, however I would not try this without the proper tools, I have a gunsmith punch and hammer kit. I shot the LCP at the shooting range afterwards, at five yards it was pretty accurate with the lighter spring pull, shot 50 rds with no problems.
I installed the upgraded trigger and spring kit . The new parts took the trigger pull from over 6 lbs down to 4.5 lbs . The reduction made this a much easier pistol for my wife to manage .
Time from ordering to receiving was satisfactory. Installation went smooth parts fit good and video was helpful. Wish the made trigger for 3 dash serial lcp.
Bought everything for my LCP but the ss guide rod. The little thing is much nicer to shot now, and the flat trigger is great to shot. Every part that i bought fit perfectly and very easy to install after a quick watch of your video's. Great job on everything guys. will definitely be recommending M-Carbo to all my friends.
I have now replaced all the springs in my LCP .380 and could not be more pleased with the results! Only problem I had was not watching the videos first... Highly recommend this before starting. It will save you from launching them a few times around the room! My LCP II is next...
I bought A Ruger LCP 380 for my wife so she would be comfortable shooting a gun to protect herself if and when needed. The pull was hard for her and I thought it was pretty stiff even for me especially when I picked up my 45 to shoot. I'm a USMC Veteran and I do gunsmithing to stay busy. I did a couple trigger jobs with MCARBO products in the past and was satisfied than and now. Good products, price and fast shipping. I'll be back
I've had a LCP for a while now. It always was the "I cant hide my 40 wearing this, better carry the 380." Now since I installed the Flat trigger and spring kit. It's an easy "go to". I followed the instructions from MCARBO and watched their YouTube instructions. The installation wasn't easy but definitely manageable. Didn't take very long either. Glad I learned how to take the entire gun apart for cleaning and tuning. Now I have to fight my Wife every day to take the LCP!
The LCP spring kit was easy to install thanks to the u-tube tutorial. My LCP is much easier to shoot. It has proven to give good primer strikes and reliable ignition. Double glad I bought it because my factory hammer spring was showing considerable wear and tear.
After watching the installation video twice, I installed this Ruger LCP trigger spring kit at the kitchen table in about 30 minutes. This kit reduces trigger pull to about 3 lbs, 6 oz. Slick! Make no mistake, this is still a DAO trigger with long take-up. This M*Carbo trigger spring kit is a fantastic improvement and well worth the money. Thanks M*Carbo!
Spring makes for a moderately lighter but much smoother trigger pull. I highly recommend the product. If you install it yourself DO NOT REMOVE THE TRIGGER BLOCK PIN. Only remove the upper 2 pins under the slide.
