The spring kit arrived in just a couple of days. Very easy to install with the video on mcarbo site. The kit did result in decreased trigger pull weight but not as much as the video but I am still satisfied with the results.
The spring kit greatly improved the accuracy and overall feel of my wife's LCP. We can actually hit something with it now. 😁👍
I am an amature gun smith and easily installed this kit in a Ruger LCP Custom. This factory model has the star on the trigger bar. Just be careful to keep your parts under wraps when installing. Sometimes working inside a plastic is a good idea to little parts from disappearing.
I just completed the Ruger LCP Trigger upgrade, I took the liberty of expanding the procedure by polishing some of the parts, and I also changed to the M*Carbo stainless steel guide rod and Carbon Steel Take down pin. The results were amazing, I always considered it a waste of time on these small guns as the parts approach half of the original price however after this install about $40 this is a totally different gun. Before the trigger was gritty and rough and with the Lyman digital trigger scale it measured 6 lbs. 4.5 oz. After completing the install which took almost an 1 hour including the polishing, the result was a smooth clean breaking trigger at 2 lbs. 10.7 oz. a very significant reduction and a markedly improved feel. You've done it again M*Carbo Right on, you have made this little pocket pistol a whole lot more pleasurable to shoot.
Swapped these out with the factory springs in my father's LCP. He's 73 and was having a hard time with the stock trigger weight. This is an easy install for anyone who has done basic upgrades and makes a huge difference. Definitely half the weight it was before, nice and smooth no wall or weird creep. No complaints at all, it does what it says it will. Big upgrade for the $!!
After watching the installation video, the actual installation was a snap. Everything seems to work fine but I still need to test fire it at the range. This kit definitely improved trigger manipulation.
lost 2 lbs off the factory trigger. 6.5 to 4.5lbs. Reset is a little too light for my taste, you can hardly tell the trigger has any tension on reset. But as always MCARBO is great, video is spot on, shipped fast, price is good, product is good quality. I've done several kits from these guys on different guns, and I can't say enough good about them.
Great kit but I didn't like the feel of the supplied trigger return spring so I reinstalled the factory spring and ended up with a nice 4.5 pound trigger.
The springs change trigger pull from 6.5 lb to 3.5 lb. Nice! The takedown video is amazing. Nice job Mcarbo. 2nd amendment patriots are frauds in my opinion.

It definitely helped the trigger pull. Went from about a 7lb pull to a 3½ lb pull. Only problem I had is they sent 2 kits when I only needed 1 and I got charged for both.
I recently installed the LCP spring kit in a friends LCP and What a Difference. This gun came with a 8.5 lb trigger pull, and the kit brought it down to 5 lb. Not quite the 3.5lb trigger illustrated in the M*Carbo video, but very acceptable..... no complaints. By the way, the install was a breeze with the M*Carbo video. A big thumbs up.
Excellent service and delivery, installation went well with guidance from the video. The only issue was the trigger spring was too light, had too much free travel and would not reset the trigger. Reinstalled the factory spring and that eliminated the problem. A minor issue with good results.
Great product!!! Pretty easy installation but with great detailed video not much problem. Trigger feels amazing compared to factory.

The items were backordered because they're so popular and so very necessary. I haven't fired live ammo yet but the pull feels nice! Same travel but it's a softer, smoother pull. Feels like a totally different pistol. I can't wait to get it to the range. Easy install. Took 5 minutes because the firing pin kept rotating out of place but, it went together none the less and I'm no gunsmith. I would recommend this for anyone with an LCP.
