Ordered 3 sets of yhe S&W J-frame Trigger Springs for older models still in use. Installation video was spot-on. Easy work, just watch the video. follow the advice. and take your time. VERY. happy with the results! Will recommend M Carbo to friends and return myself.
A very easy installation on the Taurus 942 and while I had the gun apart I polished some parts that were a little rough. The springs were very easy to install. DA is nice and smooth at 9 lbs, SA is at 3-1/2 lbs. With over 500 rounds fired there were no light strikes. Thank you Mcarbo!
I was pleased with the installation and the measured results. About 3 lbs. reduction in the trigger pull on a 642 (DA only)model. A return spring tool is worth the investment, I did the first one without it and it took an hour longer!
OK. S&W Lady Smith J Frame 642-2. OEM pull was a billion lbs. Seriously, my wife could not hold the gun with two hands and keep the muzzle still. For that matter neither could I! Installed a competitors kit which helped a bit but did result in a few dry fires and still the gun was hard to steady while firing. Enter the MCARBO Kit! Wow! Wife can one hand the gun now with little muzzle movement and with 2 hands nine! In other words, she is hitting center mass either way! Amazing how nice the gun feels now and has regained its place next to her at night. The install video is how all instructional videos should be done and is a very straightforward install. Well done Brotherhood!
Bought this Trigger spring kit from McCarbo and it fit perfectly. Along with the the kit I did a stoning to all the mating parts. When done it made a fine tuned .38 Special that was a pleasure to shoot.
Trigger Return Spring too light.
Watched the video three times Installation was a snap I was nervous about taking my gun apart and installing the new springs But no worry old springs out new springs in with little or no problem Trigger pull is way easier WC
They didn’t work for me. Couldn’t get the trigger to reset. Mcarbo parts I’ve ordered in the past worked great. Just not this time.
Parts were well packaged, video for removal/install great. Took 20 minutes!

Lady brought the revolver in - had tried to qualify for CCW carry with it and could'nt pull the trigger. Trigger pull was off the scale on my Wheeler trigger guage. Ordered and installed (also polished the action (really rough and gritty). She now says the trigger pull is much better and usable.
Own numerous Smith revolvers and have performed spring replacements and trigger jobs on all of them. Using my trigger pull scale after finishing yielded minimal results. Should have went with Wolff!
My results were almost exactly in line with what they advertise. Installed this kit on a S&W Model 60-10. Before installation, DA pull was 11.5 lbs, SA was 2.5. After installation, DA is 8.5, SA is slightly under 2. The trigger feels great. Installation was fairly easy following the video instructions.
Shipping was fast on their part but USPS wasn't as prompt. Springs were as advertised & worked as expected. Trigger pull was lightened and no FTF with factory ammo. Would recommend for a simple upgrade!!
The Customer Service is 5-Star. A great group of Patriots. I'm reasonably technical so the installation went well. The trigger pull went down from 13lbs to about 8lbs. I would have prefered a little less, but I'm considering a break in period. These folks are great to do business with
I bought a Smith and Wesson 642 for my wife. The trigger was too stiff for her. This was the fix. Took me less than 10 minutes to swap out springs. The trigger pull is easier and smoother than with the factory springs. Excellent and easy fix.
