This striker guide is stainless steel and replaces a plastic part in the gun, any time you can replace a plastic part with steel, do it!
I bought this along with the spring kit to upgrade my Kahr. Why they use plastic is beyond me. I shoot my pistol a lot and this is a must have. It was easy as well.
The guide was an exact dimensional replacement for the plastic guide that was in my Kahr S9 from the factory. Took a couple minutes to do a detail strip of the slide and then it was just a quick reassembly. Quality of the guide is perfect, and shipping time and tracking info were quick and reliable.
This is just another example of how awesome MCARBO is, they have taken the cheap plastic components, and manufactured a stainless replacement. This, if for no other reason makes me feel even better about my CM9’s construction and reliability. Great Fit,Function, and an ease with the video tutorials.

Great product. I was so happy to get rid of the plastic striker guide. When you go to detail strip your slide, I suggest you use the instructions here: http://www.naws.com/Kahr_Slide.pdf as the extractor is a real bugger to remove from the front, compressing the extractor parts with the microtip whilst trying to get that stinking extractor to pivot out. The link I posted above is clever in that it uses the slide stop to hold the striker guide down for you so you don't need three hands to push down on the extractor assembly pin at the rear - 1/16 punch, pull down on the backplate, and you're good! Great products, M*Carbo, and, by the way, you did an astonishing job on my Taurus PT-92 AFS-D...sent you the pistol, you polished the innards and installed the springs all in TWO DAYS! Pistol went to you on a Saturday, and, shockingly, was returned on Friday. THAT is service, brothers!
Get rid of that POS plastic and upgrade. MCARBO really does make these phenomenal upgrades for a reason. Functionality was smother and honestly, IMO makes the PM9 more reliable.
This is a very inexpensive ultra high quality upgrade. Easy to install with the CM9 spring kit. Boosts performance of the trigger for accurate shots

I just put the stainless striker guide and reduced pull trigger spring kits into my Kahr PM9 and I am very pleased with how easy both were to install, and the improved trigger feel of the firearm. While I've not taken the gun to the range yet, I'm certain the reduced trigger pull will result in a more enjoyable shooting experience with improved accuracy now that I dont have to pull the trigger so hard before it breaks. These are two great products that I can highly recommend to anyone considering them! You won't regret putting them into your Kahr!
Purchased this product for a new to me PM9. Followed instructions and it was easy to install. Works great and am looking forward to many years of service.
Received the sticker bar and utilizing the how to tutorial I was able to disassemble and install it in about 15 minutes . Works great
This SS guide is a no-brainer for your Kahr whether or not you are going to do the M*CARBO Kahr trigger pull reduction kit installation. I did both in one go for my Kahrs - K9, PM9, and (tomorrow) MK9. NOTE that the SS guide also fits the K9 perfectly! I suspect Chris will update the catalog to include the K9. Boo to Kahr for putting a cheesy plastic part in such an otherwise-great gun, and praise to M*CARBO for rectifying that situation!
I have three Kahrs, all three now have a stainless striker guide. A great product.
