My Kahr CW45 is new, but I wanted to exchange the plastic striker guide with a MCARBO stainless striker guide because the quality is excellent and when combined with a MCARBO striker spring and striker block spring (trigger kit) the result is a lighter, smoother trigger. This is my second Kahr that I have replaced the striker guide and installed the spring kit. The instructional video is excellent too. It took me less than 30 minutes after viewing it. I would absolutely recommend this product.
Great replacement part for Kahr. Great customer service. Do your self a favor and watch there video on how to install the part saved me a big headache. Awesome company. Thankyou
I got this to replace bent stock plastic one, I knew it would eventually break, no more worries (piece of mind for a ccw) easy install, if your doing this look look into the spring kit, great products, you will be impressed thanks guys,
Very nice upgrade over stock plastic piece. Would the plastic eventually fail? Didn’t want to find out. Will take stainless over plastic!
Very nice quality replacement of a plastic part.
Just installed the Premium 316 Stainless Striker Guide in my Kahr PM9 - just the kind of upgrade it needed; now on to the trigger spring kit!
A well made part delivered fast. It installed easily thanks to the disassembly tip in the video. Works perfectly in my K-40. My MK-40 is next!
High quality replacement for the flimsy plastic OEM part. Nice upgrade and highly recommend.
I originally ordered the stainless striker rod for my MK9, just to get ird of the plastic part I THOUGHT wasnt causing any issues. I had purchased my MK9 used, and it always had a "catch" in mid trigger pull. after finally getting the back plate off ( I recommend removing the extractor first as opposed to trying to compress all the springs at once) I removed the plastic rod to find it was really chewed up, and had a burr where the spring had chewed into it. after reassembling my pistol, the "catch" was gone, and the pull was much smoother. I was very impressed and ordered a second for my CW9.
Fewer plastic pieces means less to worry about later. Easy To install if you are used to the system. If not they have an awesome video showing how to do it.
This gun has been sitting in a drawer for 3 years. Did not like the pull..took forever. I would never carry this gun for those reasons...No with this and the other springs it's my second behind my Kimber Micro 9 (also installed their springs..
Shipment was fast. Great communication with shipment statuses! Very easy installation with the instructional YouTube video. From plastic to stainless in under five minutes.
Well, not sure what to say about this shiny little striker, my gun shot well before, and still shoots perfectly with the new guide rod. I guess if you can change parts from plastic to metal and the pistol still shoots flawlessly, why wouldn't you? I just saved myself from a potential failure down the road. I completely enjoy upgrading parts in my pistols that help performance. The most important thing about a carry weapon, is it goes bang when you pull the trigger, Happy Shooting!
Perfect replacement upgrade from stock plastic.
Got the part in quickly, quality part and fit, having the installation video on the part page and seeing the process before starting made the install a breeze.
You might as well buy this when you buy the spring kit....you're gonna be in there anyway, might as well replace the plastic striker guide.
