Love the new trigger. I purchased this for my wife’s new LCP 2, because she didn’t want something that she couldn’t pull the trigger. Although we haven’t been to the range yet, but she was considerably happier with dry fire. I would not have attempted this without the video. The videos are amazing. I highly recommend!!
Reduced trigger pull by 50%. Very smooth now. Highly recommend!
Took out my lcp 2 out to the range after all the mcarbo upgrades and it ran flawless and everything, junk bulk to cci, high and low velocity and subsonic. Best kit ever.
best trigger pull ever .. Totally easy to install. the Videos are the best . Excellent product
I originally bought another companies spring kit while looking on their website for grip tape. Trigger pull was better than factory but not much. Recently put in MCarbo spring kit, on 5 trigger pulls measured by digital trigger gauge was on average 13 oz lighter. Now I am at 3 1/2 lbs. Mcarbo was $ 8 cheaper than competition before my veterans discount. Mcarbo ships very fast on the orders I have placed.
After installation on my LCP I installed the Mcarbo spring kit, stainless guide rod, & magazine release spring in my LCP 2. Went faster & easier after doing the first one but still followed the video. This LCP 2 had a 5.8 lb. trigger pull originally and a 4.2 lb. pull after installation and lube.
Ruger LCP II 22 (new with 10 rounds through it) The MCARBO video is EXCELLENT but the 22LR video isn’t ready yet: https://www.mcarbo.com/ruger-lcp-2-trigger-spring-kit.aspx I finally found a video which shows the unique portion for the 22LR version at the 16:49 minute mark, you can see the difference between the .380ACP and .22LR versions of assembly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=na_X8n_xVp8&t=74s Before Trigger Spring Kit (lb-oz using Wheeler Engineering Trigger Gauge) 8-13.2 7-10.8 min 8-9.9 8-13.6 max 8-5.5 8-8.4 AVG (1-2.8 high to low difference) After Trigger Spring Kit (lb-oz) 7-5.3 7-7.6 7-2.1 7-12.7 max 7-1.1 min 7-5.8 AVG (0-11.6 high to low difference) Next day I checked trigger pull again (more broken in?) 6-12.1 max 6-9.0 6-1.9 min 6-7.0 6-8.4 6-7.7 AVG (0-10.2 high to low difference) I was disappointed, expecting a 50% reduction into a 4 lb or less trigger pull. My factory Ruger LCP II in .380ACP has a great-feeling trigger (that I was hoping for with the 22LR version), measuring it for comparison I get: 5-9.3 4-13.9 min 5-0.7 5-0.6 6-6.0 max 5-6.1 (0-11.6 high to low difference)
Trigger pull feels great! The kit made a huge difference in how my .380 LCP 2 shoots. Its a lot easier to shoot accurately and follow up shots are much easier. I put 200 rounds through it today and didn't have any failures. I also installed the extra power mag release while I had it apart. Very happy with that as well.
Have been carrying and loving my .22 LCP2, but it was time to give it some love. Got all the parts very quick. With the videos and my armorer’s experience I was able to get everything installed. Have yet to get it out on the range, but trigger pull is definitely improved.
I'm a pretty old man and found the LPC 2 hard for me to cycle the slide. I followed the video and easily installed the upgrade. It made a great difference in racking. Using a laser bullet I found the lighter trigger helped to hit better on a target at home. My indoor range is still closed but I will try it soon. You guys are good.
I viewed this product on you tube. They are just as stated. A very much updated trigger pull. Trigger is now "sweet"and close to half the amount of what is was before the install. The whole installation went easy and fast. I am glad I ran across the video from M*Carbo. Great product and great bunch of guys at M*Carbo PS. Well worth the price
Great kit, made a huge difference in trigger pull. Installation was so easy.
Initially had problems with reset. Turns out I had failed to reinstall trigger bar safety. My bad. Perfect now.
Tried for hours to get my LCP II in 22 bsck together and functioning. Bad design on Ruger’s part doesn’t help. Don’t try doing it yourself. I now have a paperweight…
The 3 Springs in the trigger kit make a big difference. After installing the kit I fired 50 rounds. The gun fires very smoothly and consistently. The lighter trigger pull minimizes any jerk when firing. The video is excellent. Easy to follow instructions.
Just followed the video, paused a few times, and it worked like a dream. Not overly complicated like some firearms might be. Well worth the price.
