My Remington 597 came with a 5 lb trigger, These springs along with a new hammer reduced the pull to 1 lb 9 oz. Very happy with the results!
easy to install bushing looked way better then plastic ones i have not had time to fire the rifle yet when i install this kit i also install target hammer and ejector in my rifle.
I used your spring kit and a Volquartsen hammer trigger breaks at 2/ quarter pounds for less then 70.00 bucks it's the best deal out dear very happy with your products if you don't used the Volquartsen hammer you get 3/half pounds pull

<p>I ordered the Remington 597 hammer spring kit and a Volquartsen hammer & extractor for my new 597. The purpose of purchasing the gun was strictly for competing in CMP Sporter matches. With the help of MCARBO video (I am NO gunsmith) I successfully got all pieces installed. The trigger is now very crisp with a 3.5# break. Can't wait for the next match!</p>
I purchased my 597 HB back in December 2013. The trigger was pretty bad with a pull of somewhere close to 6 pounds. About a year later I installed a Volquartsen Target Hammer. What a difference!!! Crisp, clean break with a pull weight of about 2lb 3oz. Decided to go all out and drop in the M*Carbo Trigger Kit. This got the trigger pull down to 1lb 8oz. Well worth the money and very easy to install.
Needed tweaking on the bushings with the vq hammer to stop it from binding in the housing,but now works a one with a trigger pull just shy of 2.8 lbs
The kit was easy to install. Now I have a 3.5 lb trigger pull. It was a vast improvement over the original spring. Now, if you only made a kit for the Winchester 94.

Good product. Well worth the money. I initially had a lot of misfires and was ready to swap back the old spring. But then I paid closer attention to the video and I had the spring backwards. I also got a Valquartsen extractor to take care of the jamming with the stock 597 so it's a really fun gun.
Very easy to install great kit lighter pull very happy with this kit.
The trigger spring and bushings were received in good condition, well packed, and I went to the internet to obtain installation instructions. I have range checked the weapon after the installation and found the trigger pull to be crisp with no problems. I would highly recommend this upgrade for the 597.
Trigger spring came in fast! Installations was easy 15 minutes. Works great, no misfires no light hits works fine.
I ordered the Remington 597 trigger spring kit and received it in less than three days. This was a very easy installation and while I had the trigger assembly apart I also replaced the hammer which I already had. After I was finished and had the rifle back together the reduction on the trigger pull was significantly reduced.
