After installing the trigger spring kit in my Remington 597, which was pretty easy to do by the way, I found my trigger pull weight had dropped by a pound and a half. I highly recommend this kit if you are looking to change the weight of the trigger pull with no muss or fuss.

I had previously installed the volquartsen target hammer, which reduced trigger pull but the trigger still didn't feel right. so I just installed y'alls 597 trigger spring kit and now my trigger has a clean, smooth break at 2 1/2 lbs. good quality and easy install. thank y'all for your service and parts!

Outstanding product! Took all of 10 minutes to remove the old spring and bushings and install the new ones. I also replaced the hammer at the same time and the new trigger breaks crisply at 2 3/4 lbs! Fantastic!!

I am very pleased with the product and with the follow up emails from Chris to make sure it arrived when it should have and whether I needed any assistance.



The kit lowered my trigger pull from 4.5 lbs to 3 lbs - cheapest and quickest trigger job I've ever had!



I did have a bit of trouble installing the kit, but through no fault of the product. I have large, arthritic hands and installation was, at first, a bit of a tussle. The solution I found was to put the kit together on a round toothpick, snapping the ends flush with the bushings, positioning the assembly and driving the toothpick out with the pin.

This kit is remarkable. Easy to install, even with my not so nimble 72 year old fingers. Major difference. Trigger pull is half what it was. Very pleased. Good job guys!
