just installed the new optic mount and it is built very well and the best option I have found for the sub2000. Very happy with the purchase.
The Kel-Tec Sub2000 optic mount is a solid-built tool allowing rapid topside deployment of reflex sights. It’s super fast & easy to install. I was hesitant to shell out the cash but happy I did. It makes the Sub2000 more effective & fun to shoot with greater accuracy. Highly recommended.
I love having a way to mount an optic and still fold the gun. Have not had it long enough to say how well it will hold zero so time will tell. Stuck a vortex red dot on it and now I'm a lot better with the gun. My eyesight is not what it was when I was young (rolling over to 60 this year). So I have a tough time doing well with the iron sights at any distance. Now I'm on target and 100 yard shots are much more doable. The only thing I felt could be better was I wished a little that the rail was just a bit longer as the red dot mount hangs off each end when centered. But that's a nit picky thing and the mount is solid so I can't knock it much for that. I waffle between 4 and 5 stars for that reason. It does the job and was super easy to install and the mount s solid. Of course the other thing is it is pricey for a mount. But so is everything these days. You don't feel as bad when at least you are getting quality for the money. And this is made well. Love it so far. Before I got I was thinking I should have just got the Ruger PCC. (which I did also but now I enjoy both guns with no remorse. Fun stuff.)
Installed on my Sub 2000 in less than 20 mins. Great mount; solid and functional. It works exactly as described and shown in videos. More expensive than the competition, but the simplicity and effectiveness of how this mount works makes it worth it.
This is one rock solid mount, craftsmanship is EXCELLENT! It doesn't get no better than this because in my opinion, this is the BEST! Oh! One other thing, it looks GREAT too! Need a mount for your SUB 2000, I highly recommend this one, its well worth the price.
I have had great luck with M*Carbo products with my Kel-Tec sub 2000. I actually went a different rout for my red dot mount at first and was not happy. Installed this mount and it makes a world of difference. The speed at which it deploys is perfect and it maintains zero over and over. One of their best products and simple to install.

Love the creativity to solve the sight/scope issue. a 5 minute install and a great addition to both my Kel-Tecs. Hats off to the MCARBO crew!
This has been a fantastic addition to my Sub2000 and well worth the investment. Easy to install and lets me fold the Sub the way it was intended for my hard case while having my red dot site always with me.

Lucky for me, I didn't discover the KTS2k until a few months ago. As I did more research on it, I discovered MCARBO and all the great upgrades to my a kind of crappy gun into a phenomenal shooter! This latest innovation is no exception. The optic mount is excellent! Super easy to install, very rapid deployment, and holds zero. What more could one ask for? And complaints about it sticking out too much I personally think are unfounded. Still fits into a small back pack. Perfect solution for an challenging problem.
Great mount sturdy and works great. I do recommend the flip down sight if your going to use a red dot.

I recently received my Optics Mountfor my sub 2000. The.mount was secured to the frame and I mounted my red dot to a UTG quick detach mount. One installed and at the range, my little carbine zeroed quickly. I intentionally got rough with the gun and did my best to cause.loss of "zero"...just did not happen after a couple dozen attempts..great job Chis and the entire team..recommend to all sub 2000 owners who choose to have a red dot readily accessible
